  • Who'll love a-lad-insane?

  • this is still a good version thanks in part to mike garson. he is a fucking great pianist. we need more players like that who has the talent and the ability to bring something that is their own.

  • At 4:00 he sing citate from The Kinks - All Day And All Of The Night

  • I wasn't even three months old when he preformed this. He's such an amazing preformer!!<3

  • i'm surprised his face isn't painted, even though it's for a different tour

  • 3:36 Best save ever.

  • im liking his outfit :D sexy man...

  • Hi ! I'm awake this morning with D.BOWIE's songs when I was taking my coffee (got the albums of him that I've bought + 17 CDs, all he had put on the web (he was the first to do that); it's a gift from my Brother, & there are all the songs not by album, but depends of the year X song had been written. When I search 1 of his songs, I always find it. And now, I watch his videos : very cool way to be awake. Will go on listening,& playing guitar "with him", when I know the song.Very cool video ! BYE

  • i want to join the pole shift survival group or join the existing one...let me know...

    .

  • Bass player looks emaciated. Was this some kind of gig for Ethiopia?

  • Pity we don't get the "stride" piano of the original here. Otherwise, extremely good!

  • bowie is a genius because of the varitety of styles he does his songs and they allways work now that is creativity at its limit

  • I wish he could still do a falsetto type voice. I don't want to hear his backing singer.

  • I love bowie but he sounds kind of... i dont know, tired in this video? Otherwise great song.

  • Favorite song of my 2.5 year old son.

  • @xxmisioxx wow, the child has an interesting innate sense of taste.

  • One of the best songs of all time...period

  • Yet another commenter loving Gail Ann Dorsey. She is fantastic, and works perfectly with Bowie and his awesomeness.

  • Possible word game in title - we love a lad insane?

  • @ThePaintermanful yeah, that's been around since the album game out man

  • @ThePaintermanful I was hearing: Allah insane,no disrespect intended.

  • mike garson on piano

  • i love the bassist

  • I love Gail Ann Dorsey... An amazing voice,

  • the guitar slides, eg. 0:22-23, are very dominant in China Girl

  • Are you coming to Glasgow or no, David??Voice voice voice of Bowie.............a gift to us...fab pianO , brilliant song & band. you are worshipped..COME BACK!!

  • One of his best songs.

  • Mike Garson!!!

  • Great Performance!! Tragic piano"""

  • Why?

  • @ivankaramasov Was the same man on piano as in the original Version - Mike Garson - you have written!!!

I like the duetstyle... is better than as only Bowie...We love a lad Insane... Tragic.... because here where the start of Bowie going insane.. America!!!

  • Boring fucking crowd.

  • She is great!

    You know who I mean.

  • "who will love aladdin sane?"

  • I so enjoy this period of concerts. Gail Ann is amazing . Bowie fits well with her.

  • ... sophisticated, extravagant, sexy...

  • Couldn't have done it on his own though, she's great.

  • awesome he recovered this classic

  • amazing! (:

  • eccezzionale! fantastico! UNICO!

  • the first two noises he makes reminds me of frank n furter[tim curry] singing.

  • Aladdin Sane was a true artist...

a force, a character.. very Bowie.

  • the band would HAVE to be amazing to make noise with our favorite starman. i would love to have him over for dinner.

  • wonderful. wish this was available on DVD.

I truly believe Bowie is better as he gets older...this band is incredible. Mike Garson...yes incredible!!!!!!

  • this is one of the best concerts by bowie ever recorded.

his band is amazing, mike garson, reeves gabrels, and gail ann.

  • she is just an episode, exellent but still an episode....

  • This isn't David Bowie singing Aladdin Sane.... this is Gail Ann Dorsey AND David Bowie singing Aladdin Sane.

    Lovely preformance!

  • saw Bowie play this live in '73 , also with the brilliant Mike Garson , 2 geniuses for the price of one!

  • Don''t forget Gail Ann Dorsey.

  • She wasn't with him in '73 but I agree she is amazing and you can see the respect Bowie has for her

  • Oh, how I wish that I could have been alive back then......<3

  • Me too! I was so born at the wrong time.

  • Mike Garson = MASTER !!

  • without a doubt

  • beautiful. I loved it in the 70's and it's even better now....

  • I just had a total mind-blower of a Bowiegasm. If I had been at that concert and seen The Gentleman sing this IN PERSON, panties would have been flying!

  • I have to say that Bowie is WORTH seeing even now, If he ever does another tour JUMP on it. I have seen him a few times and it NEVER enough. As he get older I think his voice is deeper because of smoking, but his showmenship

and talent is still very much alive. He Rocks.

  • Yeah he can't really match his old voice on classics like Life on Mars, but he still kicks ass.

  • Great performance!! is this from the Outside Tour? any body know?

  • yes it is

  • @BowieOutsideAudio I think the Tree's are the give away?

  • Who is that bass player? She's magnificent.

  • Gail Ann Dorsey

  • Thanks for that. I'll do some digging. She's just brilliant...!

  • Oh yes, she is!

  • @mediocrefunkybeat she seem mediocre at best, out of tune voice, nothing challenging required on bass.

  • Divino, Divine, Divin, ... Divinus !!!! Thank you very very very very much !!!! Excellent !! Sublime e Strepitoso !

  • VERO VERO VERO!!! E' FAVOLOSO!!! UN GRANDISSIMO DAVID!!!....brava come sempre anche Gail Ann.
