I updated mine to 7.21 and nothing changed. I'm still getting those blackbars....
How come you got that improvement?

Oh. I'll update the firmware of mine from 7.00. I can't bear the darn white bars. But those stupid back and pause buttons still stay on the screen always? Thanks BTW...

i tried to use the nokia suite to cinvert video to my phone, but it fails every time.
did you have this problem?
it's the first time i have a phone with these kind of options, so i'm quite a noob when it comes to this stuff.

7.21 just like yours, and i dont know what RM 217 means but that's what it says when i type *#0000#
What settings are you using for that quality on your phone? Because i get like a white line on left and right and i dont like it!
Yeah i have the same problem. i thought my video converter was not good.What video converter do you use the qua;ity looks good.
