I have been considering taking the Carnival Pride. Either sometime in 2011 or 2012. But we all know now it sails out of Baltimore. Which is convenient for me in York County PA.

the old people were annoying in the way they just sit around and read books. its like WTF you waste money on a cruise for if you just came to read?? you can do that on ur couch at home. we were in the Taj Mahal lounge watching a nice show and there was an old couple next to us IN THE SECOND ROW READING THEIR ELECTRONIC BOOKS NOT EVEN PAYING ANY ATTENTION TO THE SHOW!!! what a waste of space on the ship

i just got back from our first cruise to the bahamas on sunday and the average age was atleast 55-60 years old. white americans were def a minority. it was filled with chinese japanese and asians. weather sucked the entire outside of the ship was closed for the 1st 2 days due to 65mph winds and the outside of the ship was also closed for the last 2 days returning home

they use slaves, workers from poor countries, $75 a month plus tips........

yes, too much good food, more than you want to eat, all day long. they all taste good, being cooked from the same kitchen.

I've been on the Pride, Miracle, Triumph, Legend, Victory, and Valor. My favorite ships are Pride and Valor.

wow, I'm going on a cruise with Carnival in April, but I'm not sure which ship it's gonna be. Like Pride, Splendor, Spirit, or Legend. I'm really excited, only bad part is, it's so expensive! haha =)

I'm sure you'll have tons of fun no matter which ship you'll be on. be prepared to gain at least 5 lbs though! Have fun!

May I suggest the Legend! It's actually the sister ship to the Pride, very nice. But in my advice, stick with the Spirit Class, it's a good size set of ships, not over bearing at all and really easy to figure out you're way around. The crew is great too! I went in August 2008.. my mom has been doing this as a repeat cruise and is going for the third time in April, it's a blast! Have fun with whatever you decide!
