  • @mbbuqi Do the Kalash people have any historical records or writings of their Aryan descendants, who migrated to these region long long ago?

  • The video is great -some of the comments (islamirican ) make me sad and sick , how can a native people of over 2000 years become tresspassers in there own homeland. This is the nature of the problem weather its turkish occupied Armenian lands or the land hungry Javanese in West Papua , yet they(Muslems) will cry like babies when it happens to them(Isreal-Palestine) end islamic impirialism and hypocrocy now.

  • @ArkoudoROMANTIC Cheers. Couldn't of said it better myself. I am of also of Dorian origin

  • Greek or not they are living in the Muslims land and they are trespassing. Britts will be next. Allah Akbar!

  • @Islamirican Hey what are you talking about? They have been there in Pakistan before Islam and Insh'Allah they will always be there.

I'm a British Muslim and your a disgrace to Islam!

  • But PTDC, an organization of educated and worldly, experienced professionals, has the skills and vision to nominate them. Before Kalasha culture goes the way of the Bamian Buddhas, protect them from the colonial, imperialistic tyranny of those who wish to "develop,"convert and exploit them. Because truly, the two remaining valleys are worth their weight in emeralds, rubies and diamonds.

Sincerely,Holly Guinan+this is the view of one Well Wisher of Kalash, send your comments to UN,M.Bugi-

  • UN World heritage site is lengthy; I'd do it it myself if it didn't require first that the host country recognize Kalasha value. It doesn't seem to me that many Pakistanis are capable of valuing non-Muslim cultures, which is a terrible form of blindness. But PTDC, an organization of educated and worldly, experienced professionals, has the skills and vision to nominate them. Before Kalasha culture goes the way of the Bamian Buddhas, protect them from the colonial, /Continued,

  • UN protection starts with the national government recognizing that place' s unique cultural traditions. I know PTDC recognizes their touristic and economic value, but I'm worried that tablighis, missionaries and other prosyletizers are destroying them. The first valley is already ruined by mosque construction and loss of traditional architecture. I urge you to protect the other two from the cultural depradations of the majority.

I know the process for nominating a site for/continued

  • Dear Sir/Madam:

I tried to submit my suggestion on your website, but it did not appear to be working properly, so I am writing to this alternative address.

My favorite place in Pakistan are the three valleys of the Kalash people. I believe that the government of Pakistan should recognize them as a UN World Heritage Site. They should be protected from Islamization and assimilation before their culture is gone forever. The process of nominating a place for UN protection /Part One,continued,

  • ok... we will prove kalasha are greek descendants. or they have a slavonian roots, for example... what are we going to do? NOTHING...

Only one we can AND HAVE to do - to help them find a way of survival.

WHY we have to do it? Because we are HUMANS...

  • Makedonci so starejši narod od Helenskih.

  • dear ghwelker,

Are you by any chance related to the Kalash Tribe through DNA rewearch? It just so happens that my surname is Welker, and my DNA says that I am a descendant of the Kalashi Tribe and also a descendant of Alexander the Great? It seems as though we may be related! i hope that you respond.

    P. Welker

  • Kalash are autochthons, but adapted BRAVELY some fearless-NON monarchist traditions by Greeks who passed from their region thousands of years ago.We wish FEARLESSNESS-reconciliatory unified election list to be spread soon everywhere to save humankind from cannibalism

  • Csodalatos Nepviselet!!!!!

  • Tényleg gyönyörű, hasonlít a székely és csángó népviseletre!

  • open wikipedia and read of the "indo greek kingdoms " in bactria avganistan and india

stop spreading lies , fyrom are ex-yugoslav speaking slavic population, they have nothing to do with macedonians and the helinistic world

  • I have held a deep affection for these people for many years, and I fear for them as conflict rages so near to the valleys and their security is threatened. Thank you for advocating for them, and for sharing this marvelous tribute with us. God bless you, and God bless the Kalasha.

  • I read that they have common genetic markers as the Greeks. Do you believe that they really are of Macedonian origin?

  • Kalash are autochthons, but adapted BRAVELY some fearless-NON monarchist traditions by Greeks who passed from their region thousands of years ago.We wish FEARLESSNESS-reconciliatory unified election list to be spread soon everywhere to save humankind from cannibalism

  • @relaxpeace

Do you want to elaborate mate? I asked the person that uploaded this video if he truly believes that the Kalash are indeed of Greek origin. I am oblivious to any acts of cannibalism that may take place anywhere in the world at this day and age and I don't even know if you're using it as a metaphor let alone understand the meaning of your previous comments anyway...

  • @palenoise y thats true!

Thank you for the nice comments i hope that you enjoyed the pictures and music compiled by Mr welker we are throughly pleased kind regrds

  • agreed, these people must live on, they should be protected or else the surrounding people will get rid of them

  • @annie19645 You're very racists. Us Pakistanis aren't like those Americans who took black for slaves.

  • @RayKalmNiam---Pakistani might not see themselves as rasist but they are agents (as are all Muslems) for Islamic impirialism, cultures native or otherwise that are out side this Islamic field are looked down on at best and at worst are converted and so stop being Kalashi and become Muslem- do we really want a world with only Muslems and Christians no I don't think so , stop crying about peolpe exposing Islam for its true impirialist nature.

  • @lukejful2 You're comment proves who's the real racist. Good luck being your racist self, :)!

  • I love this song! It's so beautiful! The outfits are amazing! Lovely people!
