Every year, when the first snow falls I play it... and sorry to tell you this Odraconiandevil... you need to practice how to play it... so many misses on Biathlon... so many falls in both skating categories... but deffinetley thanks for this nice post!

I remember making my skater fall down all the time on purpose and got a unanimous score of 6.0!! My brother and I were in disbelief. Guess it screwed up its programming or maybe an easter egg of some sort?
Wasn't the trick to getting up the hill in biathalon just pushing the joystick back and forth really really fast? I used to play this on our Commodore 64 when I was about 3 or 4. Turn it on, put the 5" floppy in the drive, type "Load Winter Games", and away we went. I always liked making the figure skater fall on her ass.
@Dorinya Meaning it's easy to take first in every event if there's no opponent. Only way you COULDN'T win gold in an event was if you got disqualified or something.
@odraconiandevil79 Gringo80 is right. Only way NOT to get gold without human opponents is to get DQ'd. But thanks for posting. My favorite thing about the game was the music, especially the music for the free skate. By the way, did you really think 2.0 on a six-point scale was a good score? But again, thanks for posting. Good memories.
My worst event on this was biathalon, always had problems maintaining th required rhythm
