@SubwayZombie Yes, I know it's grunge. However, I can think of plenty of grunge artists who don't sound like Nirvana, like Sound Garden, Alice in Chains, Mudhoney, Smashing Pumpkins and Bush. To me it seems that Eyedea is even emulating Kurt Cobain's voice (and does a good job of it, I suppose). Eyedea had always kept it fresh and new and had a very distinct style of his own, and he seemed to have dropped that completely with this album.

@H3rmanSmith actually if you seen his interviews, you would see that this is him basically returning to his childhood roots. He was into rock before hip hop...he always wanted to be in a rock band, and this is originality at its fine....this is Hip Hop mixed in with Grunge, with a melodic trippy feeling....Kurt Cobain could never have achieved this.
