Wrong, he won the WBC title on November 22 1986. 20 years old, knocked out Trevor Berbick. Mike would then unify the titles by beating Bonecrusher Smith for the WBA title, and finally Tony Tucker for the IBF title. In June of 1988 he would cement his legacy as the best heavyweight with a 1st round KO of Michael Spinks. Don't talk if you don't know the facts.
