As a former student of public schools in Sydney, it repulses me that they are asking for a pay rise. 1 out of ten teachers do a decent job the rest do NOTHING except photocopy pages from text books & make students rewrite the photocopied text., stick a dvd in the player & make us watch useless garbage. Students who do well in public schools are doing well because of their own hard work & support from parents, NO help from teachers. Pay rise only for GOOD teachers with proven results!
