blablabla music.. could go on forever and forever.. not interesting.. the sound and type of guitar (C&W) is also not very appropriate.. a classic guitar would do the job! Sorry Foulkes.. it's my opinion.. I know..
@GroovyGuitar02 You are right, what amazes me is the fact that even on acoustic, it still sounds exactly as on electric, it´s all about his particular way of phrasing the melody, and vibrating the notes, isn´t it cool? :)
@insaneguitarfreak Abso-fucking-lutely =) Phrasing , vibrato ... and this marvellous way he has to play super-defined, super-tight yet super "easy" . somehow his technique reminds me of Charlie Parker's way to blow effortlessly super long , complex lines with so much ease it "looks" like he's blowing all in a single effortless blow. Some struggle more to blow on their birthday cake ! Haha ... so much "cool" . And i think John just does like that on the guitar. He's awesome :)

Sounds like Joe passed the torch on to John Scofield...

Astonishing. Probably, the last man in a post-apocalyptic world will play some tune in a guitar just like this.

I don't know how Sco does it, but when he plays just 2 single notes, I immediatly hear that it's Scofield playing ! :)

so glad you re-posted this. It's absolutely delightful and great how Scofield retains his unique identity on acoustic
