@therodiger Yep, you have to complete some things to make it happen, but Yuna CAN summon Anima. I know I got EVERY possible Aeon and Legendary weapon on more than one playthrough of the game. Can't wait for the HD remake for fresh run !

Mainly when I got Anima for myself way later in the game. I realize that whenever Anima attacked.Especially the move "Pain" Anima always looked as though it were suffering. That move meant to me that it would bring obvious Pain to the opponent, but it seemed to go both ways. To me it shows the pain and suffering of Seymour's mother...after all, I'm sure she's filled with grief over what her son had to endure, and in it all she chose to leave him behind. Anima is the saddest summon I've ever seen

She wasn't his final summon she was his first. Seymore never fought Sin. If he did he would have died. He didn't die until you fight him in the Cloister of Trials.

@BoxxyFan You're comparing two different games from two different eras. FFX had one of the best graphics when it first came out. It was the first FF to have spoken dialogue and a lot of other things. It revolutionized the FF franchise. It easily got a 9, maybe a 9.5, out of 10 on Game Informer.

FFXIII only looks "better" because its newer, but I heard the game sucked. I haven't given it a chance yet, but many a lot of my friends didn't like the game.
