i have an aser acpire 6935g, and there is this ''empowering technology''-button in the top right corner over the keyboard. and when i push it i can administer how much power is going into the cpu and gpu by the click of a button. dont you guys have that button?

Why not just make a custom bios. You can overclock and undervolt. Faster, cooler and better battery life than just under clocking.

yes sure, it runs cooler - quiet and saves a lot of batterylife , on my acer more than 1 hour +/- !!!!

no at this time powermizer wasnt able to run under win vista, so it is surely not a waste of time

and tweaking a driver for automatic up and downclocking is also not a waste of time

in an acer forum i posted there software links and how to´s to get a quiet 7730

i also programmed a acpi file for nhc so you can set the fan on and off temp as you want
