my mom made me a coat from rags also, and me and her have a bond with this song, the kids in my school were, well lets just say they were meanies, and I also told them that she sang dollys song when she always sewed my clothes.they didnt care, and I still love her clothes she makes. this song is me, and for anyone else who understands the love that mothers put into clothes they make for children.
