If that's exactly what you did, and it still doesn't work, try -dxlevel 70

Who said I had skins downloaded? Abso-fuckin-lutely no one. Skins were not the cause, skins could not cause models to flip out, cause lag (unless it is too detailed for my computer to handle), or delete textures.

If you dont want white water and want to see paint, heres the solution instEad of -dxlevel 80 type in

-dxlevel 81 -mat_forcehardwaresync 0 (INCLUDE SPACE BEFORE DASH)

How do you get -dxlevel 80 off again after you activated it? It won't delete the command after I remove it.

@shotsoon After you type that in click on the local files tab, and click on "verify integrity of game cache", let it run until you see "close"

@DeathToLilyPads I already fixed it. Just do the same thing you're supposed to do with -dxlevel 80 but with -dxlevel 95. Open it, close it and remove it so it won't change it for no reason. Then it's back to default.

The thing I don't like about it is the fact that it RECORDS the lag, and that I don't like, because the lag is FROM FRAPS!
