@airplanecrazy1989 Rock Tunnel was the worst, I remember the first time I played this game I didn't know you could use flash to lighten up the tunnel, I went through it all in the dark and kept getting lost It got me real mad. I later found out you could use flash to lighten up the cave, I was sooo pissed!

@MuscleCarsB Hey, at least you COULD get through it without HM05. The outline of the cave was still visible back then. I hate flash, so I never used it back then, but now you HAVE to make a pokemon learn it to get past, and that's just one more move slot for an HM slave. At least it's not a true HM move anymore.

At the end of nugget bridge, when the Rocket grunt asks you if you want to join Team Rocket and the game auto replies no, I would scream into my gameboy "YES I'LL JOIN! YES YES YES!" I remember getting red when I was 11 onwards, getting home from school and playing it for hours on end, with your friends. Hooking up the link cable for a battle or a trade, There was mostly no internet in any of the places i went to, there were no walkthroughs, you just played hard, training up your team, listening to this classic music. Playing at night when you're meant to be sleeping trying to get a light from a streetlamp to shine on your gameboy. Those were the days :) I still play pokemon
