I think he's using some kind of codec to make it that smooth. I use ffdshow video codec.

I remember the first time I got here, I didn't know you had to beat the 4 dark crystals first. So of course I lost. It was back when I only had the Japanese Cart. Couldn't read a thing.

What lvl do I got to be in order to beat Cloud of Darkness? my Party lvls are all in lvl 57s and I still can't beat her...Jobs I use is Ninja, M. Knight, Shaman, and a Mage... I don't use same jobs cause I'm into some fair fights

Is the DS version easier? I had lvl 67s with 99 jobs. 1 knight, 1 black mage, 1 white mage, and 1 dragoon. Knight and Dragoon hit 9999's while black mage hit 5000+, white mage obviously healed. They all had barely over 4k HP. And yet the end battle seemed soooo easy.

With the right gear set up and Focus you can build up enough power to take out CoD in one hit

Although it only says you did 9999 damage she takes several more hundred thousands of damage

Reason why I wished they would redo FF3 like 1&2, make the graphics look more polished, but don't change the game mechanics, the damage limit should stay at 9999. Being able to 1 shot the end boss is just silly and kills the magic of the game

Yeah, I would have to agree with you on that. The remake looks nice and everything But I wish they had remade it more traditional to the original.

I do :-) I think I will go play it now. Seriously at the end you have to go through two dungeons and 6 bosses without saving so if you die on any of the bosses on the way to Dark Cloud you have to restart back at the beginning and it takes like 2 hours. It's tedious but god does it make you feel good when you beat it. A word to people playing the NES version don't heal the whole party with cure 4 just heal one person at a time.

No kidding. I was playing on my (legit) ubered file today (4 Lv. 99 characters, 9999 HP, mastery weapons etc.) on the DS version, and I seriously attacked Xande ONCE and he died. I admit I was a little surprised, but I can imagine how it'd break the game for someone who hasn't beaten it.
