  • There's nothing like working on an actual real world application to out your skills to practice. These small automated cells are a great place to start.

  • what are those hockey pucks?

  • they are acrylic disks that came with the trainer.

  • wow, no fair - all i got to see on my cource was a computer simulation of a 2d carpark - this would satisfy me to see working in wonderous 3D - nice project, the program i used to write my PLC ladder logic on was "ladsim" by bytronics

  • can i have the program that u guies did?

  • what software are you using? maybe RS LOGIX?

  • We do use RS LOGIX but for this PLC we are using CSCAPE.

  • cool. i use RS LOGIX and its good. what do you think is better? i havent used CSCAPE. i know rockwell automation products are well used in the industry. what about CSCAPE?

  • Yes, we use RSLOGIX also because it is used in industry. Cscape is free software and it is easy for our students to download onto their laptops. The PLC we are using here is the Horner XLt. It's not AB but the students enjoy programing them, especially with the different screens they can create.

  • Good equipment is equal to good outcome.

  • dont tell me that this is your class project or something like that. this is a simple program. try making the game play simon say with you and i might be impressed

    o wait i've done that.
