  • This is the best help I have found. THANK YOU!

  • Glad I could help!

  • Wait, can you color an object by shading or do you have to color the whole thing at once?

  • is it possible to color an object, then, make another object and color it using another color, when I have two objects, I try to change the color, it changes both, everytime

  • Are need to be in object mode when you add the new mesh. If you are in edit mode (the mode where you can see and manipulate all the vertices) then it will color everything at once.

Hit tab to switch to object mode. Then add the new object, and you should be able to color it separately.

  • @vandrewlongstrider

How would you color two seperate faces on the same object, different colors? Thanks!

  • EvilAlligator, I just added a new tutorial showing how to do that. I've posted it as a response to this video.

  • If I add mesh plane I want to make half grass and half mountains. how do I separate the colors of the grass from the colors of the mountain.

  • you simply create a new material index (click on "NEW" on the colour box thing), then go on the shading section and apply a mountain texture. hope that helped :)

  • theres like somthing in the background that makes your voice sound a lil funny =]

  • dose it render with colors

  • Yes.

  • Yeah I need help with that to.

  • reply to insertnamehere01: Did you press the "a" key when you added the colors. Because the a key colors all objects.

  • Yes this was very helpful. Thanks!

  • The progtram colors all the shapes the same for some reason. Anyone know why?

  • Make sure you are in object mode (hit tab) before you add a new mesh (shape) otherwise it will assume that you want the same material for all the meshes.

  • it was helpful

    good luck

    peace

  • tanx man really helped
