Are you using Zdoom to run this? I'm having problems with trying to host a hexen game in zdoom. Do I need to type the host/join commands in the .ini file? Thanks, I've been really confused. I'm trying to use Zdoom instead of skulltag so I can save multiplayer games.
I believe I know how to save. Get the host to just save, then if you leave, the host can type in -loadgame saveXX.zds
XX is supposed to be a number I believe 01, 02, 03, and so on so forth. So when you save, check how many zds file extensions you have in the folder that you have hexen installed.
This only works with Zdoom. If you aren't, then I can't help you. That ishow my brother and I, got to the I believe, third hub? without doing it all in one go.
it would be nice, if you are playing a lan game, to make different parts of the video series from other player's point of view. So for part 7 of the series, maybe make a vid in the perspective of the mage?

Do you have those scrolls with the blue symbol on it, which happens to be called Mystic Ambit Incant?
If you already know this, don't listen to me, but what it does is that it gives you certain things depending on which class uses it.
I believe that the fighter gives um I dunno, 5 points of armor?
Cleric restores a lot of health, from 20 to 100 or something.
Mage restores blue mana. If that is full, it restores Green mana.
This item also works on players who are around you.

You should try Hexen II sometime.
