  • can people stop complaining on videos like this. they didn't ask for much, hell, fuck it, they didn't even ask to get through, they went through every fucking day over there ready to give all for their buddies as they would for them. AND SOME DID. they didn't complain, they were all in the same mess, and they kn=ow 1,000 times better than you that complaining is nothing more than weakness. They were a family, more of one then you are with your own families. You should thank god, every day.

  • usa usa usa thumbs up if u agree

  • It makes no difference what men think of war, said the judge. War endures. As well ask men what they think of stone. War was always here. Before man was, war waited for him. The ultimate trade awaiting the ultimate practitioner.

    -Cormac McCarthy

  • when watching it I shed tears and when I saw that video of the tanks opening up in fallujah, with the 50s blazing tracers everywhere, in response to heavy rpg fire. I reflected back to seeing that tape on CNN. It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and left a shiver quailing through my body. Once again, THANYOU.

  • I witness them come home sometimes and as my oncles get off the plane, it seems as if everytime less people say THANKYOU, it makes me angry, to think that being ready and willing to give your life for the man next to you somehow doesn't earn respect. All in all, I really wanna thank you for making this video,

  • this reminded me once more of how lucky we are and how misunderstood the capacity of the events taking place are. War is hell, but there are reasons for fighting wars, This war I just don't know, I would happily have foughten in a war like WW2, at that time we were more united then ever. Moreover, We all were fighting for the same reason, THAT'S A BEAUTIFUL THING, For better or worse EVERYONE SHOULD SUPPORT THE TROOPS,

  • mik203, I have a huge military family, grampa was on d-day, oncles served in somalia and some are continueing service in iraq , grate oncles were in WW2, dad worked on contracts for army, and grategrandparents fought in WW1 for mighty US of A. I plan on becoming an officer. This made me cry, having seen my relatives eyes when expressing fear and memory,

  • THANYOU

  • i support the troops 1000% i support the american people but this war is full of BS there is no real way to win its a process that will keep going u can slow it down but u can not stop it there will always be terrorist recruitment no matter if osama is dead there not gonna stop it will slow down like iraq but will continue...... i have ten family members active in this war an god bless every solider and family member of a solider.......there will be much more blood sweat an tears shed 4 freedom

  • Your American Armed forces couldn't find Usama if he landed in your lap and hit you in the face! It's like this next paragraph I had written jus 4 U!

This dog, is dog, a dog, good dog, way dog, to dog, keep dog, an dog, American dog, idiot dog, busy dog, for dog, 20 dog, seconds dog! ... And now read it again without the word dog.

  • We need to rethink our strategy and go after Al-Qaieda, not Osama!!! and if that doesn't work we go after the Saudia Arabia Royal Family(which he is a part of) forcing him to turn himself in!!! And if that doesn't work, the last step would be to occupy the middle east, not taking away peoples rights, but getting the Taliban out and finding Osama!!!(Even if it takes the whole world!!!!) Give me a WHO-RAH!!!! if you agree with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HOORAH!

  • OMG this hurts me so bad i cried when i watch this I can't take it anymore.

  • Those who do not support the War in Iraq do not support the troops for 94% of the troops are willing to stay till the job is done. We've rescued the Iraqi's from Saddam's genocides and the majority of Iraqi's love us because we're the only outsiders that care. We are one, I am one with the soldiers. I believe in humanity to to what america has done to help people. We have taken very light casualties for 6 and a half years of war. If we leave we break the bonds of love and trust with the Iraqi's.

  • this is awesome

  • awesome song

  • thats so sad

  • Onore a tutti i soldati di tutte le nazioni coinvolte in questa maledetta guerra

  • Powerful stuff man, the footage and pictures were amazing. I also wanted to thank you for the support of the troops despite the disrespectful commentors that fill this site. God Bless America and its soldiers overseas

  • rispetto x coloro i quali sono morti e onore x loro e preghiere x le loro famiglie. non hanno colpe. pace alla loro anima.

  • Support them, respect them, and remember them.

  • Well Let US Say God Bless u And May He Have Mercy On Your Hateful Soul For You Are Just Confused.

  • one of the best most inspiring videos on youtube- no doubt about it. it shows how freedom is not free and it requires the ultimate sacrifice

  • your video embodies how i felt when i was there and how i still feel when i look back on all the things i went thru. powerful vid

  • nice vid man my bro went to iraq twice and he might go back again, nice give at a 10/10,you now wat all does haters f u all instead of getting fat by the minute get a life if not join the military and see wat there going threw.

  • so fuckin biased it makes me sick.

  • Why, because it's not calling the troops there a bunch of war criminals? Or because the video doesn't highlight the suffering of the Iraqi people?

  • Well, that's cause this video was centered on the American troops ordered there to fight an uphill battle in order to accomplish ambiguous goals. I'm not saying it's right, just that these people didn't have a choice and they're the ones paying the price (on the American side, anyway). I figured a little respect was in order.

But hey, if you don't think so, feel free to move right along onto the next video.

  • @mik203 "Well, that's cause this video was centered on the American troops ordered there to fight an uphill battle in order to accomplish ambiguous goals."

I can actually sympathize with you on that, and you're most likely right in a moralistic way. However, the ending parts of the Iraq War, (excluding the beginning and reasonings for invasion), were actually handled much better. Iraq's government (while not entirely stable) is much more favorable than Afghanistan's current government.

  • the song is called Gortoz A Ran - J'attends, by Lisa Gerrard & Denez Prigent...I should have included the brits, you're right, they have been in this as long as we have. If i manage to put together another video i'll have to give them a lot more credit. thanks SHADOW

  • 5/5!! Great Vid mate...Respect to all of the young lads that die fighting, they were/are heroes.

One of the best remembrance videos on youtube, wish there were some British in it as we are fighting next to our brothers, the yanks :)
