  • "this portugese princess has a dress that's one size too small..." So buy a dress that fits. where does this assumption come from that for YOUR wedding you have to fit the dress, rather than the dress fitting you? Who comes up with these things?

  • @ShalomDove I think frequently wedding dresses are heirlooms, and they can be quite difficult to alter, and quite expensive to replace.

  • @Uejji that's a good point. If the dress has emotional meaning, you wouldn't want to mess with it to make it fit even if you could. But the ones that confuse me are the women who buy brand new dresses that are too smal on purpose to try to motivate themselves to lose wieght. Seems like the thought process is a little off.

  • @ShalomDove Women obsessed with squeezing into sizes too small because they want to say, 'Oh, look! I'm a size 2!! =D' Kind of like women who wear the low riding pants from the Miss. Junior department and they look like they can hardly bend their legs as a result, or sit without showing at least half a moon.

"I bought a new pair of stretch jeans, size 11-12. I stretched them into a 15-16. But the TAG says 11-12 and that's what's important, ladies!" Rosie O'donnel from her early years of comedy.

  • Jennifer's looking like a chubster in that wedding dress. Ahahahaha. I bet that trainer wants those two fingers slid somewhere else.

  • Oh GOD Jennifer you are so fat!

    -____________-

  • I wish I was that girl's size! Damn, what are we supposed to be; toothpicks? Oh, that reminds me; I need to go purge myself over a toilet now.

  • That woman in the tight dress looks fine. She just needs to get a bigger dress.

  • Why are the ratings disabled? I thought it was pretty good.

  • Wow, Jennifer looks so good. I would love to look like that.

  • Anyone notice the woman with the small dress is the thinnest person in that room? Also, I must say, the way she's getting squeezed out of it is pretty hot

  • YES YES THIS! LOVE THIS!

  • I fucking hate wedding shows. Except four weddings because sometimes that one is kind of cool just because sometimes they have some cool looking shit. And Cake Boss, if you want to count that one. But aside from that, they are all awful.

  • @iwearboysunderwear1 What about say yes to the dress? That`s a good one.

  • That woman doesn't need to lose weight, she needs a bigger dress.

  • Oh man... she's great!

  • If I was that skinny and someone told me I was too fat I'd beat the crap out of them.

  • AS LONG AS WE KEEP MARRIAGE FROM THE GAYS ITS SACRED!

  • Shows like these make me SO thankful I'm female. I mean... It will probably be a lot easier for me than for a guy to find a partner who won't turn crazy bridezilla on me. And to find somebody who wants to play video games with me... If I were a guy, I would pray like hell for equality between the genders to happen soon, so that crazy differences like these can be put to rest...

  • @felucca666 Yup. Feminism ain't just for the ladies. It benefits all.

  • Apparently that wedding dress store only carries dresses in one size. If it's too small for you, well....too bad! You have to lose weight. Oh, and hiring a tailor is not allowed.

  • It was really sad to see that beautiful bride publicly humiliated. Women, take it from a guy: That girl was not unattractive at all! When we talk about not liking "fat chicks", we're talking about individuals who have so little respect for themselves that their bellies stick out way past their breasts. This girl was lovely, and should have simply gone up a size. So sad.

  • @Alternamaton " That girl was not unattractive at all! When we talk about not liking "fat chicks", we're talking about individuals who have so little respect for themselves that their bellies stick out way past their breasts." I know it's hard for you to comprehend since we live in such a male centered world but guess what? It's not always about the guy. What's "so sad" are guys like you who think they have the right to comment on any woman's body. You're disgusting.

  • @Fwickie The Western world is definitely female-centered, and it's not even close. And for your information, I have the right to comment on anything I damn well please. YOU are disgusting.

  • @Alternamaton Wow, nice come back. To say that a person lacks SELF RESPECT just because they're a certain weight that isn't to your liking is the reason I'm calling you disgusting. If you think you're doing anyone here a favor by telling us what weight is deemed acceptable, you're not only disgusting but an idiot as well.

But please, I'd love to hear why you think the western world is in any way female centered. Please share.

  • @Fwickie I'm not going to apologize or feel sorry for holding the perfectly normal opinion that morbid obesity is an indicator of a lack of self-respect (though it is POSSIBLE to suffer such a condition through no fault of one's own). It's not about "my liking", dear. It's about living past the age of 60; it's about being able to board an airplane without needing two seats; it's about being able to, I don't know, DO things. As for gynocentricism, just look around you.

  • @Alternamaton Hate to break it to you but saying "just look around you" doesn't prove to me that gynocentrism exists. Give me evidence to back up your claims.

Also to call your beliefs normal doesn't prove that they're right. Argumentum ad populum.

  • @Fwickie Morbid obesity is correlated with lack of self-esteem, depression, suicide, and a number of other psychological problems. This is obvious, common knowledge, and you can find evidence by going to the CDC's website, or the FDA's website, or the AMA's website, or really anywhere. So it is not inappropriate to believe that morbid obesity is an INDICATOR of a lack of self-respect. If you can't see gynocentrism, turn on your TV and observe how men and women are portrayed in commercials.

  • @Alternamaton Correlation simply means correlation, so keep that in mind. Many things are "correlated" with other things. And "lack of self-respect" is not only an opinion but not something you can determine simply by looking at someone. In fact, if you were to tell a stranger that he or she "lacked self-respect" simply because of his/her size, that would be incredibly rude and offensive. Only the person would know how he or she feels about him/herself.

  • @Alternamaton The way we esteem ourselves is very tightly connected to the way others esteem us. This country treats people who are not perfect like shit. We absorb disrespectful messages everyday. When I was in high school I battled weight, then I left and lived life on my terms, and I lost weight without trying because I was no longer exposed to all the tv and media my family and friends were watching. What do you mean about gynocentrism? You think women are treated better on tv?

  • Heads up, ladies! The secret to looking good in an ill-fitting dress is to lose all that awful flab, NOT simply go up one size.

  • wtf that Jennifer girl looked normal and healthy!

  • I think one of my ovaries shriveled up and died out of shock when he called that beautiful woman a 'chubster'. She's in great shape and she looks positively stunning.

Besides, if she's a tiny bit too tight in that dress, why not just go up a size? It's no big deal.

  • I DOOOO!

  • Sarah you totally look like the female version of Nicholas Cage! you are sharp as a tack to boot...so how about you be a PERFECT LADY and say yes to my marraige proposal :-) (wink wink)

  • @Eubeltil But then, they wouldn't be able to make the show "Bulging Brides". The show is purposefully constructed this way by a very big production team who know that this will target women (hence "Target Women") :P

    Which frankly, is sickening!

  • I'd marry Sarah Haskins, I'm not lesbian but still...she's soooooo funny!!

  • @jmnc05 oh she is gay ??? not that it matters but I thought she was just kinda tomboyish lol , she is still funny regaurdless !!!

  • When they said bulging brides i thought they were going to show an obest woman (maby a woman who is a little big but not obest but still looks beautiful) buut instead they showed a normal sized girl and called her fat..and a chubbster what the hell? (and even if she was over wieght he still shouldnt call a woman that)

  • @CresentSanctuary I thought they were going to show really muscular women getting married! And helping them pick out a dress and stuff lol

  • @00GreyEyedGirl00 that makes since too. why not do that muscular wemon fall in love too

  • @CresentSanctuary Exactly! And they probably have a hard time finding dresses!

  • @00GreyEyedGirl00 yep yep

  • So if she looks like Sarah in several years. What's the problem???

  • That trainer made me die a little on the inside.

  • THE END in FEMINISM!!!! (ppl think we dont need feminism it boggles me)

  • Why not just buy a bigger dress?

  • Bulging Brides???... The girls were perfectly fine, they look healthy, and very pretty.

  • Sarah is hilarious!

  • i wanna go to your wedding i dooo XD

  • This blonde girl is hot

  • get it Jennifer, Tons? lmao

  • 'Bulging Brides'? More like 'Road to Eating Disorders.'

    insert eye roll here

  • Bulging Brides? THAT'S AN ACTUAL TV SHOW!?!

    Fucking disgusting.

  • @askanerdgirl I guess you haven't heard of "Bridalplasty," where 12 brides compete in bridal themeed challenges in order to win plastic surgery for their big day.

  • I feel stupid. I'm a woman and to marry is my worst nightmare.

  • LISTENNNN!! 1:32 to 1:34

  • Bridezillas cracks me up, it shouldn't make you mad. It's should make you hopeful and optimistic!

If those selfish, horrendous, arrogant, terrifying, ill-behaved, bi-polar, cunts can get manged to find a guy AND get married.....

    YOU CAN TOO!

    LMFAO!

  • 2:41-ish, just buy a bigger dress, maybe???

  • 3:00

What the hell, she looks exactly the same! how is that supposed to shame her into losing weight? Shes not even fat!

  • 3:27

..My God, that's exactly what I want MY wedding to look like! =D

  • I DOOOOOO! haha genius

  • Just get the same dress one size bigger. Jesus Christ. :P Or, if you've already bought the dress, there's these things called "alterations" that happen before you get married. I know, it's tough, but stay with me. You take your dress back to the dress shop, where they offer this "alterations" service, and they make your dress fit. ZOMG, I KNOW, RIGHT?! AMAZING!

  • The look of shame on Jennifer's face when gayblackdude says "We have TONS of work to do". LMAO

  • Disgusting. She's not fat she just NEEDS A BIGGER DRESS wtf.

  • Bulging brides? WTF where are the feminists on this one?

    that's just surreal.

  • @28335 but you're forgetting, feminism is DEAD. We live in a post-feminist, non-gendered society now where everything is totally equal. What wage gap? What sex discrimination on golf courses? I don't even know what you're talking about when you say "rape culture".

    Silliness.

sorry, as a feminist, that is exactly the kind of stuff I hear all the time. Thanks Sara Haskings for this amazing show!

  • Comment removed

  • @JigokuKitty ...did you read the last two sentences of my comment? I completely admire your justified rage if this is the case.

  • she looks healthy though, she doesn't look fat either, she just has a tiny dress ><

  • oh.. she is funny ,..in a good way ofcourse

  • omg SHES NOT EVEN FAT! just get one size bigger, god >:C

  • dont forget sunset days, the only we television show about old horny people

  • LOL MOMRA!

  • "TONS"... LOL!

  • How sad is it that "Women's" networks like WE and Oxygen don't really give a fuck about women?

  • Love her. Mawige sucks.

  • These kind of shows make me want to just get a marriage certificate at a courthouse and not even have a wedding, and I've never even seen one, just the commercials! I'll suck it up for my girlfriend's sake, though. xD I'll also get a dress that fits, because anyone would bulge out of something that's too small! Duh.

  • I dont know if I love this chick or Bryan Safi more! Infomania rox!

  • WTF She's so skinny already!!!!!! I also look like her on her 3rd wedding anniversary lol.

  • lol "I DOOOOO!"

  • WAIT...bulging brides is real? Really? Why wouldn't you just get a slightly larger dress?

  • My freaking hero.

  • "They put the 'we' in 'wedding' and the 'end' in 'feminism'" hahaha

  • I dont know why, but evey time I see that real Bridezilla go by and say eather "listen!" or "I do!" I just loose it and start laughing!

  • God that skinny yelling guy at the end is so annoying!

  • First time I've heard a thing about that show, and it looks to me like the most facepalmingly useless and unnecessarily offensive show I've ever seen in quite a while.

  • bitch you're standing on my vail!!! lmao

  • "They put the "We" in Wedding, and the "End" in feminism"

    So true!

  • She tries to be all hardcore and feminist but she looks BEAUTIFUL in that wedding dress!

  • How does looking good in a dress make her less of a feminist?

  • @SpecialFester I don't see how that makes her any less of a feminist. Real feminists never wear dresses? Does not compute

  • @SpecialFester What the fuck are you talking about you dumbass? Stop judging looks by the patriarchal standard called "beauty" and listen to what she's saying.

Feminists wear dresses. They are comfortable and fly up when you spin.

  • @Eubeltil god i know...i guess no one thought for a second that maybe the dress was too small instead of trying to make an already thin girl lose weight...makes me want to pull my hair out!

  • I LOVE how Sarah makes fun of all this stuff

  • I hate those smug, self-important trainers. That girl looked great. And I'll bet you that if they hadn't interfered, in a few years time, she would look the same as she does now. As for them, I can see two options:

    1. They go crazy from depriving themselves of everything they chastise other people for eating and end up looking like that dude from the movie about the white ninja.

    2. They indulge in so much cosmetic surgery they end up looking like Sophia Loren.

    Have a Pringle, you bastards.

  • @MissPsychoB Is it just me, or did Jennifer and the girl trainer look to be about the same size? How the heck can you tell someone they're a "chubster" and take them down the "aisle of shame" when you look just like them? It's ridiculous.

And honestly, when they showed Jennifer what she would look like in a few years, I love the look on her face. I can almost hear her thinking, "Wait, I'm supposed to be worried about looking like THAT?"

  • *Two finger slippage*

  • My husband and I didn't have a big wedding. I wore an old prom dress (before you ask, yes, it was white :)), he wore a blazer, we got married by a friend who was ordained with our witnesses being two friends of ours. Still happily married three years later (and oh, did I mention, neither of us care about our weight so long as we're healthy).

  • Comment removed

  • Maybe people should try to put as much effort into their marriages as they do their weddings. But what do I know? I'm just a dumb single guy.

  • Agreed! Sincerely, Dumb Single Girl

  • I second this movement!

    Sincerely, Nerdy Single Geek-Woman

  • i can never eat food while im watching this cuz i just spit it out cuz of the laughter LOL

  • I like how when a dress doesn't fit, it's because of the body and not because it's the wrong size. Back cleavage doesn't happen unless you're trying to shove it someplace tiny!

  • The same points they're trying to make about why she's "too fat" are usually given as guidelines to detect bad tailoring. But hey, it's all the same :-I

  • That is the most disgusting show i have ever seen. those kind of dicks-head images of women are the reason why women who can see their ribs thew their shirt are puking their guts out in hospitals. revolting :X

  • "- - by your 3rd wedding anniversary, you could like this..."

"wait..thats what I look like NOW"

  • lol? that jennifer isnt even fat

  • I almost cried when I saw the look on that girl's face. What fucking pricks, telling her that she's not good enough. FUCK YOU WITH A CHAINSAW YOU COCKS!

  • Love this one!

  • Thank fuck we don't have a wedding channel yet. I don't watch any wedding shows either. And my friends got married kinda small andwith a "let's get this over with" attitude. Phew.

  • "They put the "we" in wedding, and the "end" in feminism."

    omfg, i LOVE sarah haskins.

  • Hehe wake up ppl women have sexual instinct as much as men

  • i love you sarah haskins!

  • Wow... those trainers are the cause anorexia. D:

  • haha

    you're the best!!

  • that Jennifer chick was pretty much the same size as the trainer...

  • Those trainers deserve to be shot...seriously...........who tells girls like that that they are too fat? They looked so healthy!! Completely fucked up.

  • Yep those women really look great, they should be happy!

    Great video!

  • @000Caitlin000 You hold em down, and I'll pick off their balls.

  • @000Caitlin000 Seriously! I mean, helllloooo? It's called a bigger dress! And that girl wasn't even fat! She's thinner than me, and I'm not fat (I'm not thin, but I'm not fat) I mean, if a girl wants to drop a few sizes for her wedding, then go ahead, train them to lose the weight! They asked for it! But they don't (never watched it, but I can tell because anyone signing up for this won't need "future vision")

Beauty has become a thing of anxiety for women! It's so sad!

  • @000Caitlin000 It's not just about the trainers, there are many people responsible for producing the show.

  • As for the last show, wouldn't it be easier to just get the dress refitted? Funny! xD

  • sarah i love you. an inspiration to funny women everywhere :)

  • me too!

  • The We Channel, putting We in Wedding. Without it, you'd only have DDing. And no one wants to be the designated driver.

  • "tons, get it Jennifer? *tons*"

    haha.

I just saw the Chocolate: Target Women on infomania last night and I'm so glad all of these are on youtube. They are hysterical!

  • are those shows for real??

that jennifer was fucking skinny... how much skinnier is she supposed to be?

  • I know, they are ridiculous!

just let the girl be healthy! and get a dress that's one size bigger. it's not rocket science people!

  • i love the chips she took out

  • Yeah, Jennifer really have tons of work to do because she was just not skinny enough~ *lol* I don't think I would wanna have a wedding now ^_^

  • You can go to my wedding. In Tokyo. We can destroy the city and have CAKE. And we don't even need to worry about getting fat.

  • OMG. i couldnt stop laughing.

    she is fuckin hilarious!

    <3

  • oh, she's so fat!

    yeah right.

  • 0:01-That's how my wedding will take place. My husband will be Groom-era, the protector of children or somethin. And it'll happen in Tokyo, and the afterparty will involve making movies with crappy special effects.

  • I was blissfully ignorant, but now I know of "Bulging Brides"

And I want to believe that this show is so bad it's good, thus justifying it's existence in my eyes, but I just can't...

  • As if wedding planning wasn't stressful enough, the bride has to deal with shattered self-esteem and a warped body image that will haunt her well past her special day! NOBODY needs that!

  • She is so hilarious!

  • I seriously can not stop watching this one. It is my fav episode! its so funny! "I DOOO"

  • lol.... hey i look like that right now jajajajaja

  • What does the woman in the car say at 1:49 right after she says "to barf"?

And what does the trainer say at 2:04 after he says "Jennifer looks like a"?

  • 1:49 is right, and 2:04 is jennifer looks like a chubbster

  • Thank you very much!

But, at 1:49, I meant when she says "if this means I need to barf or if this means I need to...", that is the part I didn't understand.

(I'm Spanish. I say this in case I make any mistakes when writing).

    Thank you in advance.

  • if this means i need to barf, :D

  • Doesn't she say something afterwards? Doesn't she say two things? Barfing and something else? She says "or if this means I need to get some..."

  • or if this means i need to get some fem fem

  • Ok. What does "fem fem" mean? I "googled" it but didn't understand. Thank you.

  • Fen-phen. Deadly diet pills.

  • Thanks a lot.

  • fen phen

  • haha, I love this lady. she's awesome!

  • I'd like to find Spanish subtitles for her videos or make them myself (if I had the complete transcription, because I miss some parts). Does anybody know where I can find any?

  • It's not that I might look like that, I KNOW that's what I'm going to look like by my third anniversary. Save me, Bulging Bride!!!

  • Stop being lazy and make some of your own content rather than just piggybacking on the stupidity of others.

  • I can't believe the show told that woman (Jennifer) that she wasn't alright ! She is really small, and don't have to lose weight !!! What is wrong with those people ? Alter the f*cking dress instead !!!

  • The world has acquired one massive eating disorder. :(

  • Or just buy a dress that's the right goddamn size in the first place. I do NOT understand the "I'll buy a size 4 dress even though I'm a size 8!" phenomenon.

  • She looked so skinny!

There wasnt even a real bulge.

    That poor woman.

  • Totally! The dress was just too small on her. and tbh, even in the too tight dress she looked great. I can't believe they called her a chubbster of all things.

  • all she needed was a different size dress
