@Uejji that's a good point. If the dress has emotional meaning, you wouldn't want to mess with it to make it fit even if you could. But the ones that confuse me are the women who buy brand new dresses that are too smal on purpose to try to motivate themselves to lose wieght. Seems like the thought process is a little off.

I hate those smug, self-important trainers. That girl looked great. And I'll bet you that if they hadn't interfered, in a few years time, she would look the same as she does now. As for them, I can see two options:
1. They go crazy from depriving themselves of everything they chastise other people for eating and end up looking like that dude from the movie about the white ninja.

I wore an old prom dress (before you ask, yes, it was white :)), he wore a blazer, we got married by a friend who was ordained with our witnesses being two friends of ours. Still happily married three years later (and oh, did I mention, neither of us care about our weight so long as we're healthy).
