This is such a great idea! My daughter is 4 almost 5 months old. I try to read to her every night and it has become our special thing together. I am very excited to start this same tradition next Christmas with her. Thank you so much for this idea!

yes, we still read every night :) She loves to read so much that "book" is the first word she says in the morning. I tried this tradition idea of yours this year for the first time and it didnt work out to well lol, but she is only 18 months old. She wanted to open all the books. I think next year I will keep them up and away and out of her site, and I will chose with story to read until she is old enough to pick one story a night on her own without throwing a fit to have all the books at once.
