the landrover doin what it does best! lets not forget that these machines are all made in the uk.landrover is one of the only remaining car manufacturers in the uk, and one of the best acheivments made by the british..
something that we should be proud of not just becuse of the history, but becuse they are used by emergancy services, utility companies, farmers, recovery services.. all over the world.
even bob marly had a series 3 simply becuse he liked them and now, its in a museum!
Not to forget aboutthe Perkins Brothers too. I suppose it woul dbe best in Britain's interest if they were simply to reclaim Landrover. It would be considered a valuable asset to them for the British economy. Anyway, that's for them to decide.

TATA which also (owns tetley tea and chorus!)is trying to buy landrover, which is currently owned by ford! who bought it from BMW!

and before BMW it was BRITISH LAYLAND that owned landrover. before BL, well it was just landrover and the rover group.
regardless of who owns LR, it doesnt change its country of origin.
LR was designed in britain by a man called maurice wilks in 1947, and all landrovers are still made in the uk.. i think that makes them very british.

Yeah except Maurice Wilks based it off of a American Willies Jeep and even used the chassis from one for his prototype.

@madzyzome yes but he soon realised that the jeep chassis was to flexible and made a chassis that didnt flex
