Is the fan really as noisy as everyone says it is? I don't mind loud noises since there are always stupid kids playing baseball and skating right outside my house.

Hasta a horas ha ido muy bien. No ha dado nunca problemas, sopratutto por las temperaturas bajas. Ahora trabaja sin problemas a 690/2200Mhz. Juego a Far Cry 2 a 1440*900 con detalles máximos y 2AA y a Crysis con detalles muy altos.
sañudops men disfrutala y ojala se te keme wn por visioso jajkaksjakjs!!! yo keria comprarme esa pero ahorre un pokito mas y me voy mañana por la 4870 jejeje cuidate men y hace cagar la vga jugando :P
lol I had the stock 4850 when it came out then sent it back cuz of the problems and they sent me this. still using it

my r4850: 37° idle, 48° ° full load(fan at 59%)
clocks: 690/2256
antec 300 case(so 2 case fans,120mm and 140mm)
yes, it's quite noisy at 100% but at 59 % it's allright
conclusion: MSI has great cards for overclockers!!

i'ts really quiet this model! The fan on it at 100% is like the stock @ 50%!

@Gilgamoosh it's really noisy but i put it @ 40% and can't hear him.
when i play i put him @ 60% so i can hear him a bit but not that noisy.

i don't get it. i have the same video card and i have 51° idle and around 70° after 10minutes of gta iv. without OC :|
