yeah your right. i went to the london premire of 'the holiday' i was just standing outside the barriers. some random people got out of cars and some people jokingly boo'd because we had been waiting for the main actors. I got home and looked on imdb, it was nancy meyers the director! no-one had a clue who it was

To have Nolan as "glorified" as either guys he would have to star on his own movies ON screen and not remaining behind the camera......

Oh and you re right Steven Spielberg, Georges Lucas or Stanley Kubrick are less known than the actors they've used
