hi , i love this card , i tried to make it but once i printed it out and cut the black line, i found it quite dificult to make the cake become 'pop-up/3D' pls help or if u can make a video thank you ! :D
@lolirock987 Thank you that u like it :) I have never done any tutorial before, written or video based. It might take time if I make a video tutorial and it might be not good in explanation.
I would like to know what was going wrong when u tried the picture tutorial, may be I could help you.
@sharlenekoh I used glue stick to paste both the papers together. I had first applied glue on half of the card (upper part) only on the patterened paper, then align the edges of both the papers, used my hand, rub on paper so that it will smoothly stick with other paper.. closed the card, pressed and rub my hand so that it could stick properly.
then did same thing with the bottom part of the card
i really like your wavy cake too!! i wish i knew how to import the pdf into a svg, thanks for sharing

I used the same tutorial to make the basic cake inside. The decoration is completely depend on you how you want it to do.
As for my card, I used colored pencils and markers and some different colorful paper sheets (cut it in different shapes) for more decorations.

I have my cake not sticking on the back.. How do i stick it and prevent it from being so crumpled? from all the folding and stufff...
