  • hnguyen3k,

You're not going to convince anyone with this story. It would have been dropped without opposition anyway. Because that idea was too stupid to become a law from the get-go.

You think CSVN listen to Vietnamese people? As far as I know they are never elected by the people, so why would they care about what people think?

  • This is CSVN real reaction to their citizens when their interests are threatened. I'm sure you've heard of the notorious PMU-18 (Project Management Unit 18) corruption case. About 2 billion USD was involved, which includes funds from overseas donors such as Japan, European Union, Australia and the World Bank. Two Vietnamese journalists were arrested in May, 2008 for reporting this scandal. These journalists were doing their job and got arrested. So, you think you have a voice in VN?

  • Vietnam is not totalitarian by any means. Hitler was a totalitarian. Vietnam is not anywhere near that. Vietnam has been moving foward steadily eversince Đổi Mới was initiated in 1986. Vietnam is now a Socialist-oriented market economy with diplomatic relations with the West. Citizens are allow to operated their business without interference from the state.

  • THe one thing about you is stupid. Even you live anywhere in the world you are still vietnamese. Dont live with the history just live with the future. Trying to break down your homeland is the stupidest thing ever. What can you do for Vietnam? or just sit your ass out in other country to do something useless.

  • one more thing I dont stay in Vietnam now

  • Ha Americans think they are rich or most of other white people. They dont know that in Vietnam, there are many Vietnamese can burn them with dollars and Euros. Let research guys.... to buy a car in Vietnam you have to pay 500% for tax. It mean 1 Lambo in Vietnam equap 5 Lambos in US or any where in the world. They pay by cash and pay off. Shut the shit up when you try to be top..

  • no need for all the hate, should be happy that our country is changing, yes i undestand there are a lot of people suffering in VN but that doesnt make rich people the bad guys

  • the question is about so corrupted communist party in vietnam, not vietnamese people, you understand that, mother fuck ???

My vietnamese friends hate communist. They sad that after the war 1975, the communists took everything from them car, houses, money, bikes. The communist sad because they are capitalist and they had to share with others. Why ???

What do you thing now ? Do Cuong Do La and other rich people in vietnam have to share with poor people ?

You belong to communist party ???

  • u such a ignorant bastard, u probably let the american fucking ur mum right now, yes there r a lot of corruption etc in VN, but this is son of a succesfull business individual. ur just piss because u cant have their money, n fuck no, i dont work for the government, i live in england. your family worked for the american?

  • I woudn't spent my energy argue with these stupid and ignorant folks in here.

Those ignorant folks in here are used to be with U.S. backed regime, of course they lost the war and fled to overseas.

Now they seem VN is getting better and they bitter jealous of it. They'll be bitter and jealous until the day they die.

And in VN today, the country has opened its door to the world, and you have to be associated with communist to be filthy rich, enough said.

  • Hey little VC, I'm more than happy to see an average Viet driving that Lambo on Saigon streets. But reality is an average Viet has to do hard labor for almost 300 years to earn that car (do the math son). Spotting a Lambo on SG filthy streets and thinking VN is prospering is just plain stupid and ignorant. What I see is a rotten, corrupted society. Son, you need to educate yourself before opening your mouth.

  • Vietnam is prospering in comparison to what it was, and it has nothing to do with the Lambo. Granted there are corrupt officials in Vietnam, but you can't label Vietnam as a corrupt society because of a few bad apples.

  • still behind thailand for 100 years LOL communist same as north korea

  • I believe that's what I said, having Lambos or Rolls Royces in Saigon has nothing to do with the Vietnamese prosperity but rather a symptom of corruption. What do you expect when the whole country's wealth controlled by a totalitarian government?

The Transparency International recently ranked Vietnam as the second most corrupt country in South-East Asia (after Indonesia), based on a survey of international businessmen. Can "a few bad apples" build that kind of reputation? I don't think so.

  • VN is not a totalitarian government. Where did you get that from? China is definitely communist and more totalitarian than Vietnam. I don't hear anybody whinning about them. There are an abundance of private business in VN. They are not control by the state. If VN is totalitarian, why are there major US companies doing business overthere? Coca Cola and Nike to name a few. First you call them corrupt, then you crawl into bed with them?

  • Vietnam is just an image of China in the mirror since it has adopted the so-called "China model" in 1986. That is, economic freedom plus political repression. Apparently, this kind of economic freedom has given you the illusion of a free society. But in reality, the opposite is true.

  • No, the illusion of a free society is in the U.S. if you open your eyes. You are tax 20% on everyone of your paychecks. You are tax on everything you buy. You have to pay personal property taxes. Car insurance and probably health insurance. Their judicial system is also design to strip money from the people. If you make less than $20 per hr. You are just making enough to live one day to the next. Is this not economic repression? You can speak up, but nothing will change. That is not freedom.

  • Speaking up alone won't be enough. When was the last time you exercise your right to vote? If you want to see change then change what you see by voting out all the incumbents. Don't send them back to Washington over and over again. Because nothing is more insane than doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Yes, you do have a voice in the U.S but you don't know how to use it, that's your problem.

  • There is no perfect society, only one is better than the other. And America happens to be better than Vietnam. Why? Because there are about 17 million illegal immigrants already in the U.S and yet thousands of people around the world are still trying to get in every day by both front doors and back doors. Perhaps, they see something special about America that you don't. Did you see anything like this in VN?. Is anyone trying to get in VN?

  • @hnguyen3k i agreed that we get tax 20% out of every paychecks but on the bright side , look at how many free public services that we are enjoying. Your kids have the opportunity to go to school at least till 12th grade. kids in Vietnam dont. your children will get support from the government to pursuit higher education if you dont make enough to cover the tuition. My point is you can see where your tax money goes. if it was vietnam ,that money would buy these asshole lambo and ferrari

  • In fact, VN government is not of the people, by the people, for the people. It's a one party system in which its citizens' basic rights were stripped. They don't have the right to vote, the right to form a political party, the right to be critical of their own government (no wonder why you don't hear anybody whinning about them). Dissidents have no where to go but prison.

  • In fact? You are just talking from your perception of Vietnam. Where are you getting all this from? Just recently, Vietnam government introduced a law that people under a certain height cannot drive motorbike. People got upset and voice their opposition. The law was quickly abandon. I know because I was there when it happened. You think you have a voice in the U.S.? Do you really?

  • There is absolutely no transparency in VN government. Its citizens have no idea what their government is doing. And CSVN officials are not required to file an annual financial disclosure report, shall we say, that's a license to steal?.

  • This is true. There is no transparency. Vietnam officials mostly work out of site from the public. There are no media oopla like in the U.S. where you can't make heads or tails of what they're really doing. "License to steal?" Maybe, maybe not. You're speculating.

"That government is best which governs least."

  • You'd be shocked to find out how much these CSVN officials are worth. According to the US-Vietnam Trade Council, Vietnam's 100 richest individuals are all CSVN top officials and each worth at least 300 million USD. Le Kha Phieu, former General Secretary of VC party, is worth 1.2 billion USD.

So, what is the right word to call such a government?

  • the doors of vietnam is opened. That is 1 of reasons why there is many people get rich "Ông Huỳnh Ngọc Sĩ bị đề nghị truy tố... Cơ quan điều tra chưa khởi tố thêm tội nhận hối lộ với ông Huỳnh Ngọc Sĩ .. PCI đã trả tiền thuê nhà của 16 tháng, tổng cộng 80.000 USD (khoảng 1,2 tỷ đồng). , ông Sĩ hơn 52 triệu đồng...."

  • that is true! i m trying to tell everyone -.-

  • nah his family dont work for the cgovernement, this car probly cost them 1 mill dollar coz the import tax is like 200%. stop hating on vietnam, ur mad coz they;re rich now

  • yeeyeeh ! I´m 100% agree with nguyentuan90.

Vietnam is nothing without supports from Japan, Australia and Western Europe. These supports mean for all vietnamese people, not for communist party,

They are rich now ??? Fuck !!! Communist party members have everything: supercars, luxury houses, housekeepers and they buy land and houses from New Zealand, Australia. Their children study in the USA, UK, Australia,...

  • What about vietnamese slaves, brides in Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia ? Why did they leave from vietnam ? Just because for 100, 200 dollars and they are so poor.

    Open your eves !!!!!!!!!

  • who is the fu** Cuong do la ? 1 of corrupted communist family´s son ? That is the gap between rich and poor in vietnam. Corrupted communist party !

  • im so agree with you dude. the total population of vietnam is 80mil. within that 80 mil, 75 million people slave their asses off looking for foods, and the rest 5 million, who work for the fucking communist party, are corrupted take people' tax money and buy their fucking lambo and ferrari. they're rich because they;re corrupted. fucking bitches.

  • going to be easy finding that thing around all those scooters.

  • import taxes in Vietnam is actually 200%..crazy right

  • the tax to import those car is 30 percent of the car cost =X. rich people should use their money to help the people instead of buying car to showoff

  • are u fuking stupid? where u think he or she get the money for that lambo? definitely by taking all the money from every fuking person in the country?

{This Lambo foreshadows the economic prosperity of Vietnam.} lol

  • About 1,000 workers at a Panasonic factory in northern Vietnam have gone on strike to demand higher pay to keep pace with the rising cost of living, state media reported Sunday.

The workers at Panasonic Communications Vietnam Co., Ltd. walked off the job Saturday in Hanoi, according to a report on the Dan Tri newspaper's Web site.

  • Consumer prices in Vietnam have climbed 25.2 percent in the past year, according to government figures. About 300 strikes have hit companies across the country in the first quarter of the year.

It was unclear how much of a wage increase the Panasonic workers were demanding.

The company has been paying its workers an average monthly salary of 1,050,000 Vietnamese dong ($66), 50,000 Vietnamese dong ($3) higher than minimum wage, the Dan Tri report said.

  • Company officials were not available for comment Sunday.

Panasonic Communications has been operating in Hanoi since 2006. The company produces high-tech electric and electronic products such as phones and optical disk drives for export.

The old Jew from Nazareth died over 2000 years ago and in many schools in America, they still teach children to sing: Jesus loves me! This I know, For the Bible tells me so; Little ones to Him belong, They are weak but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so

  • wow, they have them in vietnam, but you won't see any of them at all in china...i'm very confused, last time i checked, china is better off than vietnam, but still good vid though

  • CSVN= Murder Incorporated.

Corruption still is the best enterprise for developing Vienam.

  • xe cua thang Quan717 do'

  • You guys are all retarded. It's HIS money he can do whatever he wants with it as long as he is happy. You guys have no right to impose your values against the driver. Maybe the guy has extra money OR he has a passion for cars. So some rich guy who has the money to afford an expensive car has to buy a motorbike instead because it so happens to be in "Vietnam"?

  • The work of the Asian Development Bank(ADB) is aimed at improving the welfare of the people in Asia and the Pacific, particularly the 1.9 billion who live on less than $2 a day. Despite many success stories, Asia and the Pacific remains home to two thirds of the world's poor.

  • ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK: Is a regional bank established in 1966 to promote economic and social development in Asia and Pacific countries through loans and technical assistance. It is a multilateral development financial institution owned by 67 members, 48 from the region and 19 from other parts of the globe. ADB's vision is a region free of poverty. Its mission is to help its developing member countries reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of their citizens.

  • FOREIGN AID TO VIETNAM: The World Bank's assistance program of foreign aid to Vietnam has three objectives, to support Vietnam's transition to a market economy, to enhance equitable and sustainable development, and to promote good governance. From 1993 through 2004, Vietnam received pledges of US$29 billion of Official Development Assistance(ODA), of which about US$14 billion, or 49 percent, has been disbursed. In 2004 international donors pledged ODA of US$2.25 billion, of which

showing off with a Lambo is just like carrying a fake LV bag in a high class ball.

  • you guys don't need to admire him.

you guys also don't need to envy him.

showing off with a Lambo only means he got nothing to show off.

only guys with no good knowledge,no good appearence, no good characters inside must show off with a piece of metal.

have you guys ever seen Bill Gate, Warren Buffet showing off with cars, planes or even villas ?

  • trust me when i tell you this, Vietnam is a nice country but the cheating and lieing to get money is unbelievable high. People earn money mostly by dirty job, paying money to gain unfair advantage.. I love Vietnam but not the way people live there.

  • The only one in the country... sweet

  • Agree, terrible to buy one in Vietnam for any reason. I bet most of the girls over there have no idea on how much that beast cost and what it can do. I live in Cali and dated a few Viet girls and some of them have put their feet on my dashboard not having any respect for my Ferrari. Can't imagine the girls in Vietnam, they probably take a crap inside that Gallardo.

  • perhaps you got some crappy girls...vks are not pretty

  • it would be interesting if you could film it ah!

all those toys are about $1.15 USD mil...what a bling bling :)

  • i thought they couldn't afford it.

  • You thought wrong, the country is poor but, the people is very rich...take my words for it. Vietkieu only have U.S passport but, no money.

  • MAN this guy got some major major bank account. given that those things cost around $175K and the fact that tax on cars in vietnam is like 100% (seriously). must be like the rest of the rich kids in vietnam - connection to the corrupt government there

  • I LIKE IT BUT NOTHING SPICIAL

  • Where is this at Hanoi (spelled wrong) cause u would c nething like that in South

  • lolol.. here comes a spoiled dude with a brand new expensive car, with all the little motorcycles.. lol

  • LOL. who the fuck is this dude. He is an idiot. Street in Saigon is busy with fucking a lot of bikes and he has a fucking gallardo in those street. The street in Saigon isnt enough for my Supra get to a third gear with full torque. Lol fucking rich dude just wants to show off how fucking rich they are. Lol What an idiot !

  • That is a very nice car but it is being wasted just driving around at 10 milies an hour. But it is their money so they can do what they want. I know i wouldn't buy it there.

  • Lamborghini Gallardo: Best way to runaway from communists.

  • the guy driving it is a communist. they are the super rich in vietnam now. they took over all the assets.

  • As to whether it is a race car or cruiser is up to the drive. But clearly, THIS car is a RACE car (do your research).

#2. why are you giving me his stats #3/4 "I"- that's my opinion.

Please read carefully before you talk smack... I have the right to my opinion, and so do you.

  • 1st. I'm not saying Vietnamese ppl couldn't afford it ( fuck..i'm viet).. what I'm saying is- there no need for +500 hp car on a busy street. I know because I went to Vietnam many time-thank-you. I know Vietnam govs. are trying their best to improve the infrastructures, but the fact still remain that it's very crowded on the street. FYI, there are many ways to show wealth, then to buy something that's couldn't full enjoy its potential.

  • Who ever bought a Lamborgini for the HP and Handling??? Its one step above buying a Ferrari here in Hollywood. Just a way for gamless dudes to even the playing field.

  • dandik araba

    varmı murat131 gibisi :))

  • Still, I would love to own one of it one day......and fuck it up the day!

  • I don't see the point of having it in Vietnam, considering the road are tight and busy most of the time. To import it to Vietnam would cost 2x the original price tag (or more); from what I've heard. It must've belonged to some RICH ass European businessman. No Asian would want that piece of shit in their drive way. In a matter of fact, I don't see the point of having at all; period. FUCK all exotic cars. True racer builds their cars from the ground up.
