I loved all of Heath's movies. He was one of my and my husband's favorite actors. He was my husband's age when he passed. It was so sad and I like many others was shocked to hear. Miss him.. he was so full of talent.
I Found Out That Heath Was Shadowing The Director Of The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus , And That He Was Going To Direct A Movie About Chess ! It Was Such A Heartache To Read This , Because He Would Have simply LOVED To Direct . He Loved Directing Those Few Music Videos . And He Was Painfully Shy , And i Think He Was Sort Of Getting Sick of The Spot Light . He Never Liked Being Followed Or Looked At , Anything Like That. He Loved Film, But i Think He Would Have Loved it More Behind The Camera.

I don't believe he killed himself at all. And there are many daughters who move away from their families and settle in different parts of the world. Children are not meant to live with their parents forever. As for divorce, who cares? No child is ever concieved in hate, all parents love their children at first, it's only later on that problems occurr. He wouldn't be the only father in the world to have a troubled relationship with his kid because of the crap that went down durring the divorce.

And you drop that he was divorced, and not seeing his lovely daughter for many time. When he committed suicide, his daughter was in the other part of the WORLD . In Berlin.
It wasn't suicide. It was an overdose (or so the police reports still say. Maybe he did kill himself, but we don't know) =(
As for being divorced, I don't think he had been married yet. He was engaged to marry Michelle but they never did because they broke up in September of 2007.
And Matilda was in Berlin?! I didn't know that. I was wondering where she was because there hadn't been any mention of her anywhere.

And you're right. He was a very skilled chess player, so he was probably extremely intelligent. I think he was so upset with his life that he just didn't care, but didn't literally take the pills to kill himself. Just my own little theory.
As for not mentioning his death, all I really did was copy and paste the first part of the article at Wikipedia. I didn't really write it myself. I didn't include any notice of the death because I suppose I wanted this to be abnout his life, not his death. Like, pretend he is still here with us. =( I guess I'm still living in denial. I'll add the death notice as soon as I can.

By Divorce I mean "Child Custody". It was a false "sharing custody", i.e. when the father was alowed to see the daughter, if the mother agrees, etc.
The daughter was In Europe when he died, I think in Berlin. So it was really hard for him to see her at all.
There are many people who dont believe the Oficl report (ok, overdose). Why ? He was getting more and more famous, rich- the dream of an actor.
So why the pills ? And overdose ?
The only bad side of his life, was Matilda.
