I am a Kikuyu and I have many friends from both the Luo and Kalenjin tribes. We are Kenyans first. Our first president Mzee Jomo Kenyatta was not perfect but he championed the unity of our country tirelessly througout his presidency through the spirit of Harambee. We should continue this and refuse to embrace all who try to divide Kenyans. Such are not our friends. Divided Kenya will fall but united we can rise to greatness.

I have visited your great country and I pray that Kenya will again be the jewel of East Africa. I know I'm an outsider but I did notice many improvements under Kibaki vs. Moi. I guess I will never be able to understand the motivations behind the violence. I have heard stories of people who have worshipped in the same church for years buring each others property.
