@erikad333 Is your hair curly? What gives mine the most volume is just not over washing it. I only shampoo my hair a couple of times a week and it stays so much healthier and has much more volume. I'm not an expert, but try it and see if it works! :-)

I have EXTREMLY curly hair but i actually made fake but real looking side swoosh bangs with a little bit of sports gel, a (faux)horse hair brush, and 1 or 2 clips. I straighten/smooth my hair (without a flatiron) with the brush and a little bit of gel, then I pull it straight and pull it past/under my ear where i clip it to the under/back end of my hair. and it STAYS :D You can see what it looks like in one of my latest videos
