@Hannibal457 No matter what you do, Xplay is bound to make dumb review. They will give a Nintendo game a 5/5 and give a SEGA game a 3/5 or lower every time. IGN is awesome, Xplay stinks. All these fancy video game grading companies (even IGN), are bound to have the worst opinions. That's why I try to watch fan made reviews other than grading companies reviews.
Conduit IS good, ecspecially for a wii game, BUT the only big flaw I saw was how everything was totally corridor based. LUCKILY, unlike most gaming companies, teh creators of The Conduit have taken everyone's complains to heart and the demo makes it look VERY promising. They even have said to try to tighten up security and run troubleshooters to keep out and find hackers. Conduit 2 will be the Halo and Killzone of the Wii.
i dont know why everyones bitching about the score, the campaign was pretty terrible and the online is full of hackers. the only redeeming quality though is when the online experience runs well and avoid the hacking pricks online which is rare. considering that, i think 3/5 is a proper score

The controls make you feel like you're Mr. Ford, you can spend countless hours on multiplayer, and there's voice chat! So stop hating on the wii and its games. I think it is funny how people bash this game for being "straight forward shooter" but when call of duty do that over and over it is fine and brilliant. And why do so many people expect a deap story in a shooter? I myself don't give a crap about stuff like that, I whant the gamplay to be fun, and alot of things to shoot, zombies, aliens, teletubbies, dosen't matter.
I love it how people compare this to the Halo series and then say "IT'S NOTHING NEW OMGZWTFFFF???++". Well, when did Halo do something "new" and "original"? Playing Halo 2 or 3 feels like playing Halo: CE all over again, but that's not a bad thing since I liked that game and I still do.
World at War and Modern Warfare were both a thousand times better than this. There were so many long loading screens and bugs, most of the time when I wanted to give the game a redeeming chance, I couldn't even play.
When I could play it, all the multiplayer consisted of was crowded hallways and people shooting blindly at each other. Whether it's from the commonly chosen bazooka mode or not, the end result of a firefight is based off of sheer luck. This game didn't even have a sniper rifle.
I don't like Halo 3, don't get me wrong, the game is great, but it has one thing that I don't like: the xbox 360 controller. After trying fps on wii I hate dual thumbsticks, it is so clunky and stiff.
Sometimes I wanna punch Adam Sessler in the balls. 90% of the games they review get a 3/5. GET A BETTER RATING SYSTEM, G4! Morgan Webb won't stay hot forever, you need to keep us interested!
G4 sucks..you can tell during the review the guy is a 360 or ps3 fanboy, so he already made up his fucking mind before he even played the game. The Conduit= GREAT experience and Team Reaper on Multiplayer mode is damn good.
Most reviewers care about the story and the controls. The conduit had a cliche story and the levels are linear, but the controls are fantastic. I would have still gave it a 3.5/5 though. Or a 7.5/10.

@S4ukk0 I played the Wii and aside from a few select games.......... it's just excuse for lazy game designers to make shovelware. On the PS3 I already have great games that far out number the great games the Wii has to offer. And don't get offended it's a game console not your mother I'm talking about ^_^

@S4ukk0 No reason to get upset. MAG, Resistance 2, and Killzone 2 = PS3 exclusives. I don't play FPS games nowadays, right now I only really play Metal Gear Online and Super Street Fighter 4. I'm pretty sure they won't reach the PC anytime soon.

Ok what they're saying is that for a Wii game, it is pretty good, but compared to PS3 and xBox games, they don't compare. Relative, people. Relative. Fine, it's good for Wii, but compare and it pales in comparison to Reach, Call of Duty, and Killzone.

This is the best fps I've seen in a while. I play MW2, Halo 3 and the single player in this was amazing. I liked the masonic imagery. It felt like the best parts of Solid Snake meets Space Ace.
I own both a ps3 and a wii and this game wasent amazing by any means but was very solid at what it tryed to achive alow not as good as killzone 2 it is better than a lot of generic shooter on ALL platfoems it is worth a buy to all aspeialy if u just own a wii.
sometimes.....I have it and i was addicted to it with the multiplayer. But yeah as he said.......The 1 player mode really isn't that great. But Multiplayer is very very bad now because there are SO MANY damn hackers and glitchers on it. If your looking for the best online FPS for wii then get Call Of Duty Reflex for wii. Hands down it is the best fps on wii so far.....Next would probably be Red Steel 2. But we'll see.
i've got red steel, the conduit, metroid 3 corruption, and played cod world at war and metroid 3 has the best style/graphics and controls. easily the best!
I'm glad I rented this game. The levels get monotonous and the monters have some pretty cheap shots (well you do too, shoot through doors, ASE detects traps through walls, etc). They could have worked the clipping issues a little more robustly. But it is a good once-through shooter and I've always loved conspiracy theory movies, and this feels like you're in it, so I'd rate it a 3.5/5.
It's a little thing called the "Nintendo" brand on the box. It's just like Apple, in where they can release any piece of shit and the mob will buy it.

U can't compare wii games to xbox and ps3 of coarse it's not as good as halo it's console has a mental deficincie lol. Uhh, all 3 consoles are in the same generation. Meaning that all 3 consoles are put against each other to see which is the best....Just because the Wii is more or less a minor upgrade from the Gamecube does not excuse it from anything. =/
Oh yes they can - the Wii is in the same generation as the PS3 and 360. Just because Nintendo was too lazy to make an HD console doesn't excuse it from its arrogance. The Wii gets bashed for its flaws just like how the 360 gets bashed for the RROD and the PS3 for lack of AAA and AAAE titles (although that trend has gone for the better since last year)

but the version of the 360 which is cheaper than the wii is essentially a brick. the lack of a hard drive and the lack of various other features makes it a much better value to buy the Elite 360 than it is to buy the Arcade.
you guys are all comparing Wii games to other Wii games, but the fact is is that all games should be graded on the same scale as other consoles, i mean this game cant live up to great shooters such as halo, gears of war, and call of duty, who were all rated on the same scale as this game

I'm sorry, but this is easily the greatest FPS on the Wii with the best multiplayer the Wii could muster as well as some very solid graphics that you can even detect from this shitty quality video. All depends on youre circumstance. I happen to love this game simply because I have no other options. On Xbox and PS3 there are a million better alternatives to this game, but on wii this is the only good fps.

@S4ukk0 No reason to get upset. MAG, Resistance 2, and Killzone 2 = PS3 exclusives. I don't play FPS games nowadays, right now I only really play Metal Gear Online and Super Street Fighter 4. I'm pretty sure they won't reach the PC anytime soon.

This is the best fps I've seen in a while. I play MW2, Halo 3 and the single player in this was amazing. I liked the masonic imagery. It felt like the best parts of Solid Snake meets Space Ace.

sometimes.....I have it and i was addicted to it with the multiplayer. But yeah as he said.......The 1 player mode really isn't that great. But Multiplayer is very very bad now because there are SO MANY damn hackers and glitchers on it. If your looking for the best online FPS for wii then get Call Of Duty Reflex for wii. Hands down it is the best fps on wii so far.....Next would probably be Red Steel 2. But we'll see.

I'm glad I rented this game. The levels get monotonous and the monters have some pretty cheap shots (well you do too, shoot through doors, ASE detects traps through walls, etc). They could have worked the clipping issues a little more robustly. But it is a good once-through shooter and I've always loved conspiracy theory movies, and this feels like you're in it, so I'd rate it a 3.5/5.

U can't compare wii games to xbox and ps3 of coarse it's not as good as halo it's console has a mental deficincie lol. This is probobly the best shooter on the wii, if u have a wii, pick it up for online. Oh yes they can - the Wii is in the same generation as the PS3 and 360. Just because Nintendo was too lazy to make an HD console doesn't excuse it from its arrogance. The Wii gets bashed for its flaws just like how the 360 gets bashed for the RROD and the PS3 for lack of AAA and AAAE titles (although that trend has gone for the better since last year)

The reviews for this game just piss me off. I'm sorry, but this is easily the greatest FPS on the Wii with the best multiplayer the Wii could muster as well as some very solid graphics that you can even detect from this shitty quality video. How dare reviewers give it anything below an 8/10 or 4/5? Once again the bias against the Wii shows its ugly face. I'm convinced they're literally paid to give these unfair scores. This game is more fun than Halo (I'm a veteran) because of the great controls
