Guys the media deliberately ignore Dr. Paul. Lets not watch the bias media anymore. all the channels that conducted the debates are constantly scape questioning Dr Paul.
@tehbabes because most Paulbots aren't normal people. They're conspiracy theorists, fringe nutjobs who live on their computers with tinfoil hats on ranting about the Fed, Jews, their guns, Blacks, homosexuals, and the evils of evolutionary science!
@SocialDemocrat1789 oh ok well the people in the audience at the debate must be retarded paulbots too because they usually applaud Ron Paul more than the others.
@SocialDemocrat1789 yeah I know right. who is letting all these dangerous fanatics in the debates? its almost as if theyre just a general sample of the population and the people are for Ron Paul? ...nahhh that can't be it..
@tehbabes you're right, it can't be that - otherwise he would win the nomination. Which he won't. And all you Paultards and return to the internet and read your Lew Rockwell diatribes and wait for the next Revolution/Armageddon in 2016. :-D
@SocialDemocrat1789 I don't know what's worse, the few "nutjob conspiracy theorists" that do support Ron Paul and misinterpret his stances. Or the people like you who think every Ron Paul supporter is a nutjob.
@tehbabes i'm amused you think you're not one of them. Anyone who believes that a guy who for decades made millions of dollars from publishing racist, antisemitic, homophobic, conspiracy theory garbage in his "newsletters" never read them and never agreed with them............ despite footage of him talking about them and promoting them..... i'm sorry, you're a nutjob.
@SocialDemocrat1789 Who cares about some 15 year old garbage someone wrote in his newsletter? Besides people like you who want to bring it up for political reasons. The guy obviously doesn't agree with any of the crap people are quoting from it, no one has ever heard him talk like that and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. Oh but I'm the nutjob. Ok buddy.
@tehbabes "obviously doesn't agree" with it? He DEFENDED it for years, well into the 1990s. Do your research. You think he was all of a sudden born again? Just exactly at the same time that he started running for higher office? Funny coincidence, innit?
@SocialDemocrat1789 He defended what? His newsletter? I'm sure he did promote his newsletter, although he obviously wasn't reading it. That is a mistake that is biting him in the ass now unfortunately. But if you honestly believe he wrote the racist material in the newsletter then you should work on your basic logic skills. Please tell me where I can find proof of him defending the racist material in his newsletters. Go ahead ill wait...
@tehbabes i just did. Google is your friend. It's on Wikipedia. He "obviously wasn't reading it". Yeah, right, for 20 years, he receives big fat checks in the mail, and it never occurs to him to think: "Hmm, wonder what these people are loving so much?" Never occurs to him, in over 20 years, to look over what is being published IN HIS NAME, in FIRST PERSON. Never. That 1995 statement was defending the racist content. Explain that Paulbot.....
@SocialDemocrat1789 You are simply paraphrasing and misinterpreting what is being said without reading the entire context. And it's not as if the newsletter was posting racist material for 20 years straight. He said himself that he was far too busy to read every little thing published in the newsletter.
@SocialDemocrat1789 How many times does the obvious need to be explained to you? He has never written or said anything racist and the things published in the newsletter are even talking bad about people who he worked with and thought were good people. Why don't you listen to what RON PAUL is saying and stop paying attention to some bs published by who the hell knows 15 years ago.
@SocialDemocrat1789 He took ownership of the comments (that he did not write) because his staffers told him it would be better to just take ownership than to make excuses and talk his way out of it. He did not write the offending material. Accept that or not.
@SocialDemocrat1789 If he did not write the material, is clearly not a racist, and has never said anything of the sort that is being quoted, then it logical to assume that the only nutjobs are the people still hanging riding the "Ron Paul is racist" wagon. No?
@Dscheller89 I'm not an American citizen, you moron. Look at my location.
Thank god, I would have to put up with the shame of being associated with this circus show!
You, on the other hand, are a horrible human being - supporting a nefarious, lying, racist, antisemitic, homophobic, conspiracy theorist crackpot for President. You must be really proud.
@SocialDemocrat1789 haha, my bad. But i am not a horrible human being. :-) if you could please show me how Dr Paul is anything you said he is I will give you a high five.
@Dscheller89 why should I have to "show you"? Shouldn't you research your own Presidential Candidate? Read his Wikipedia article ffs. Under heading: "Newsletter Controversy" Look up the videos of what he says about abortion, evolution.
@SocialDemocrat1789 I asked you to show me because I have looked into this guy and can find nothing of the sort. But I shall check out what you just told me. Peace :-)
@SocialDemocrat1789 1. He obviously didn't write the racist material. 2. It's 15 years old for christs sake. and 3. Listen to what he is saying today, even a two year old can see the man is far from anything racist. It's just a bunch of old bs being dug up to hurt his campaign. If someone honestly believes Ron Paul is a racist person then I don't know what to say, get your head checked.
@tehbabes well, it's a shame that you're so far removed from reality. As I said, amusing to me to see that you think you aren't one of the Ron Paul nutjobs.
He's a nasty old bigoted kook, who's hidden his less palatable beliefs since running for office.
Not the first to do so, and I'm sure won't be the last.
@SocialDemocrat1789 Yes I am a Paultard, a Paulbot, or whatever name you want to call me. Great argument buddy, resorting to name calling is always a winner.
@tehbabes he PROMOTED, and PROFITED from the filth he printed. In 1995 he said of the racist quotes from his newsletter (written in first person): "If someone challenges your character and takes the interpretation of the NAACP as proof of a man's character, what kind of a world do you live in?"
Ron Paul is my first choice but I'd rather see Obama and his socialistic government in the white house before Romney's Big Business types who don't have to answer to the American people but answer too their rich shareholders. No thanks. Ron Paul 2012
a living wage for adults is more like $18 an hour as most jobs will probably be part time with layoffs for work slow downs. C'mon people know your worth and demand it stop being so grateful to get nothing in exchange for working like a dog.
Stop being bullied by your leaders not everything they do is motivated for the good of humanity or to protect our lives. They've learned that it doesn't have to be about anything but money and seeing how far they can go.
They know they can always find a bunch of people that will take anything they throw down on the floor and eat it and praise the lord on tv making them look good. teens getting their first job can accept $10 min wage. Adults paying rent, bills, college, health care etc cannot
Thanks to liberal policy the world economy is crashing. We must do two things to stop the meltdown NOW!!! Firstly, we need to raise all payroll taxes 10% for one year. We also need to stop (right now) wasteful handout programs like medicare, social security, unemployment,, etc. and lower the minimum wage to $2/hr so we can compete with China. I will work with romney,Paul Ryan and my other republican colleagues and take immediate action on these proposals. God bless the GOP!
@unclelight lol, $24 for a 12 hour shift before tax, you really care about people dont you :) fyi, you cant compete with a country like China which has a much bigger population and a lack of care about human rights.
@bubbamann547 i have noticed that too. I think its b/c many of his supporters are young and we all know that young people are more technologically advanced. so we spend are days on the computer.
@bubbamann547 Hi Bubbaman, he has some good ideas but his other ideas would be deadly to americans like cutting SSI for younger generations, education, unemployment, medical and income assistance. He thinks the states will handle and distribute aid as people need but Mayor Bloomberg of NYC reject an opportunity to create jobs if he agreed to $10 minimum wage. That's fine for teenagers but adults need a living wage of at least $18 with benefits $21 without. The mayor refused over $7.67
@TheSTEFSTUF I understand where you're coming from, I live in New York. But I also believe that in today's America each state is it's own culture. Life in New York is nothing like Life in Alaska, Texas, or California. That's why I think the states should have some say over these things. I've watched hours of past debates and interviews of him and he is always consistent. I am beginning to believe that he knows what is best for the country right now.
@bubbamann547 I worry that no matter how much funding is allocated to New York they will never allow the end of poverty. Perhaps a new mayor focused on improving the quality of life will make a living wage priority, minimum wage is for teenagers.Ron Paul doesn't plan on intervening which is one of the many caution flags for Ron Paul. With out governing and policing anything goes and the states cannot be given free reign.
@TheSTEFSTUF It is up the the people in each state (not the president) to demand that their local elected officials do right by them or vote them out. It requires effort and a little work on individuals part but that is the only way to have a government by the people and for the people.
It can be done theres time & heres will for it lets do it & show em we are done with the corporate sponsored politicians ignoring the Constitution and trying to override , destroy, & nullify it!
Dont let the media & the rigged voting machines steal this country from us totally, It clear the people of intelligence know who to vote for, just look at the comment from every debate , Paul Is clearly the ONLY man for the job, but we gotta get out there and spread the word,go door to door if u have 2 but each & every 1 of us has to put in time spreading the word to make sure he gets a landslide cuz if u all cant tell by now theres no way there gonna give him a fair chance, So get busy! plz!
so if you should enjoy the fruits of your labor so you can pay your own health care instead of expecting the govt health entitlement when there is NO LABOR out there or wages so low your condition deteriorates every year you have to skip going to a doctor that you should just die? get over words and labels and do the right thing $7.67 is not going to work Ron Paul.
@eldongb1 thoes were the good old days but how long will it take how many years of your life and my life will getting back to that will it take? 18 years ago you could get a $3 breakfast special complete with coffee and juice. It sounds good i dont think rich people want to make less money.
@TheSTEFSTUF it only took 20 years to go from jobs and decent amount of high paying jobs to competing with China(slave labor) to see who's citizens' work(life) is cheaper in a race to the bottom. Ten years and we could have high paying jobs and money that's more valuable if we put tariffs back and end the FED's counterfeiting. Second, rich people's money would buy more and sell more because you'd have valuable money to give them.
they are speaking of bringing some overseas jobs back home, on the news tonight, here is an opportunity to see if they will remain low wage. the timing is strange with none of the cuts in place or any of the changes made how can bringing back those jobs help unless they offer decent wages based on knowing what Americans need to be successful.
@TheSTEFSTUF Oh, don't worry, they'll bring jobs back...by lowering taxes so as to bring low wage jobs from China over here. At first they won't be as low a wage, but they will probably say in a few years that minimum wage is too high and we need jobs more than high paying ones. They certainly don't want to tie wages to things like food, fuel, or time. Imagine if $1 = 1hr. Would gas be 3hrs per gallon? Or would 1hr/$ buy 5 gallons?
@TheSTEFSTUF There'd be jobs if we restored the tariff, and $7.67 might be enough if they stopped printing so much money that it's worth a thrid what it was fifteen years ago. If you made minimum wage 15yrs ago you could buy 5 gallons of gas- now minimum wage gets you 3 or less. That is because of the FED, so if you END THE FED the dollar would be worth more; fuel would cost less because of it. If we did away with insurance, health care costs would go down, and be affordable
If people can think for themselves, instead of G.E.(NBC) you know that the only way than Ron Paul will lose, or be a 'spoiler' is if you don't vote for him. Ron wants to get kids off drugs and get drugs off the streets and out of schools and black markets, by putting them on shelves where somebody needs an ID or prescription to purchase them.
@eldongb1 Ron Paul actually said it's none of business or govts to say you can't use drugs or save you from yourself. if the states make it legal for you to use heroin and you choose to you have the freedom to do it. A lot of young people will do it, it may destroy our society by over indulgence. He doesn't think drug use should be regulated, but the profits from donations, (celebrity) rehabs, step downs, continued treatment and support programs makes it ok.
@TheSTEFSTUF Do you think you're making sense? Drug use isn't regulated. Drug distribution, manufacture, and possession is CONTROLED. Ron Paul wants to regulate them just like tobacco or alcohol, so instead of buying dope at school, kids will have to wait until they can legally buy them with ID or prescription. It's a health issue, and you can't legislate morality which is what he's referring to when he says gov isn't there to save you from yourself.
Ron Paul censored interview on 20/20 abc news this video deals with what Ron Paul really means about this freedom of choice issue and govt legislating virtue, he says if a person wants to smoke crack or women want to prostitute their bodies it's their choice which is crazy considering how much is spent rescuing people from sex trade, and drug addicts destroying other peoples lives he says its a state issue. This is a Ron Paul censored interview or 20/20 ABC news
@TheSTEFSTUF You completely misunderstand what he said. By state issue, he means the federal government isn't endowed with authority to do that, and that only states can make laws regarding them as the constitution doesn't empower federal government to do so. What's crazy is saying drug addicts destroy other people's lives whiie simultaneously acting as though they will destroy more if you require photo ID. Prostitutes rarely need rescuing where it's legal/regulated as Nevada.
@TheSTEFSTUF Some people getting drunk and violent doesn't make it 'crazy' to say people have a right to choose what they drink, or otherwise ingest. Al Capone killed people not because he was drunk, but because of profits from selling liquor illegally. Most people addicted to crack never would be if they weren't able to get it at school or on the street. Profits would dry up if regulated where you need a prescription, Outlawing has been proven to not decrease use but encourage it.
@TheSTEFSTUF Prostitutes in states/countries where it's legal aren't in need of rescuing like ones with pimps. That's because there's regulations like licensing, and the use of condoms. Pimps are eliminated and outlawed which eliminates much of the violence problem. It's also been shown that when legalized the rate of prostitution does not go up- so making it illegal doesn't reduce it, or make it safer. States can outlaw it, but the federal gov. has no authority to do so.
@TheSTEFSTUF You've got that kinda backwards. If it's none of governments business, that means the DEA basically goes out of business and they're legalized federally. If states make it illegal, THEN you won't have that freedom.
If Romney only plans on serving one term, and then go back to his busineses, I wonder if his decisions are going to help America EVEN IF it hurts his companies profits? Kind of like electing someone that is a foreiner to America, and then trust that they would be willing to bomb their own country. Kind of makes you wonder why his billionare friends are investing so much money in his campaign.
Sad thing is ever since the 2000 election when the people didnt follow the agenda and elect the pre approved next dictator (Bush) the started installing voting methods and machines that are FAR less secure, why would u do that for any other reason than to manipulate the results of the vote? Along with how the mainstream media propaganda networks have shown beyond a doubt that they are servants of the status quo, due to the way they are misrepresenting Ron Paul, We can no longer trust the system
I'm a guy who isn't into the gushy happy emotions bullshit usually when it comes to anything, but honestly I must say, it touches my heart that so many people support Ron Paul!
Romney, stop making the Conservative party seem like a cult. Dr. Paul is all about substance and real changes... I believe Ron Paul has prescribed a major can of wooping on Wall street and useless wars... The Doctor is in the house...
How much i believe Ron Paul i just can't see how he will become president, America has a bad history with people telling the truth and exposing the real bad guys. 40 years a go they killed the Kennedy's (they thought they could run a country poor pricks). but look at the bright side in this time they don't need bullets to silence people. don't get me wrong i really love Dr.Paul and i would be very happy to see the American people took their country back period.
@me25422 no way in hell his gonna win... hes 70 years old... get real and vote for romney. ron paul is going to run as a third party, splitting the ticket and obama will win
How can anyone watch these debates and not realise that Ron Paul is the only one that says anything REAL. Everyone else is just like I love America. America America America... Great, but what are you actually going to DO?
It seems like Beating up on Romney is the "popular thing" to do right now. It's a shame, because Romney is a very steady, intelligent businessman, who is by far, the BEST candidate on the stage. We need someone who can DEFEAT Obama and someone who KNOWS how to run this country.
@peaceliberty4all oh yes i like his 70 year old status for beating obama. come on... you cant possibly think hes going to fucking win... be smart and go with romney. paul is going to run alone, splitting the ticket, their for obama will win
@SwiftXZ Being smart is exactly what I'm doing and Ron Paul can beat both Romney and Obama who are essentially one and the same. I'm sure you'd like me to vote Romney because you know he doesn't have a chance against Obama but I don't vote for who people tell me will win I vote for who I agree with and believe in.
@peaceliberty4all trust me i would rather have ronpaul be president then obama... i just dont see ronpaul beating obama and i dont see him being president due to people mocking his age... just no way he can pull it off. he will however go third party and run against romney and obama... this will end in obama winning
@SwiftXZ What you don't seem to understand is that even if Ron Paul doesn't go third party Romney doesn't have a chance to beat Obama. Personally I don't see how people can vote simply based on who they think can beat whom. I for one don't vote based on that or looks, or age but who I know has our countries best interest in mind and the only canidate who currently does is Ron Paul. This country nominated McCain who seems older than Paul IMO. Age shouldn't be a factor. And RP will pull it off.
@peaceliberty4all please explain to me why romney will not beat obama! romney will ask hey obama what have you done in the past 3 years? obama will be silent... game over romney wins. seriously i want to know why you think romney cant beat obama
I am disgusted by how everyone gets far more time than Ron Paul in almost every debate when he is far more intelligent and American than everyone up there including Obama. Ron Paul is a threat to the New World Order, corrupt government and the media puppets who are trying to manipulate who you vote for. Don't believe everything you see on the news, folks.
@Rane909 Jon Hunstman got less time to speak then Paul, and his answers were more coherent and intelligible. Every Ron Paul supporter thinks he is a victim at all these debates. EVERY candidate that isn't Romney or the current flavor of the month doesn't get hardly any time to speak, not just Paul.
Romney, Gingricch, Santorum, and Perry should form a comedy troop because they're all JOKES. They have no intent of helping America. They're in it just to simply win something.
Funny that Santorum and Romney both say they support the gay community and think they should have all the same rights ....except when it comes to marriage. Apparently, the LBGT community cant have the same right to legalize their commitment to one another, like other Americans, based on their sexual orientation alone. Its discriminatory, and unconstitutional. I'm not voting for either; there's only one candidate here that supports gay marriage.
why the hell is their a 90's sitcom laugh track everytime gingrich speaks? yes he looks funny but its as if hes trying to win through zingers, soundbites &"comedy". Is this what you want for a leader? someone who thinks this is a comedy act to be president. The only thing funny is the fact people would vote any of these puppets besides ron paul, the only person who understands politics, economics&what people need&what they want. Not every country or election has a ron paul so please take advantage
"This nation is divided...because of attitudes like that"
I think everyone should take a lot of stock in that quote. Not to say Huntsman should get the nomination, but whoever does needs to be willing to cooperate and bring Washington together.
Steve Christie was a lobbyist, Romney likes him, Romney says he hates lobbyists, he is lying, check Wiki for the background on Chris Christie - Romney tells you what he thinks you want to here, he has no principles, he is plastic man
They prefer to address the candidates who only give proposed solutions that superficially shuffle the fiscal problems around, not solve them . They ignore Ron Paul because none of them including the journalist understand the foundation of our fiscal problems and therefore overlook the real solutions provided by Ron Paul. Besides... the Federal Reserve would never allow Ron Paul to destroy their FIAT SCAM so, education of the masses is not in their best interest....So much for real change!
okay, you can have extra time if your bashing paul and then still get to answer the question you were asked.. if you Paul bashing you get extra time...sheeesh!
shit im not a Ron Paul fan but he is correct with Washington being out of touch with the american people. Its exactly the same when they try to use celebrities to pitch their views on us.. 30:45
funny thing is mainstream media has these two douchebags romney and huntsman leading bt alternative papers have Ron at number 2 and gaining!LOLING so hard that even with limited time they gave him to speak, people arent fooled anymore.
NBC should host more debates!

Never occurs to him, in over 20 years, to look over what is being published IN HIS NAME, in FIRST PERSON. Never. That 1995 statement was defending the racist content. Explain that Paulbot.....
SocialDemocrat1789 1 month ago
@SocialDemocrat1789 You are simply paraphrasing and misinterpreting what is being said without reading the entire context. And it's not as if the newsletter was posting racist material for 20 years straight. He said himself that he was far too busy to read every little thing published in the newsletter.
tehbabes 1 month ago
@tehbabes Then why did he defend them, as late as 1996? reason.com/blog/2008/01/11/old-news-rehashed-for-over-a-d
SocialDemocrat1789 1 month ago
@SocialDemocrat1789 How many times does the obvious need to be explained to you? He has never written or said anything racist and the things published in the newsletter are even talking bad about people who he worked with and thought were good people. Why don't you listen to what RON PAUL is saying and stop paying attention to some bs published by who the hell knows 15 years ago.
tehbabes 1 month ago
@tehbabes lol. You're losing it. Read his defenses of the racist comments. Accept it. Or not - and continue in your blissful, willful ignorance.
SocialDemocrat1789 1 month ago
@SocialDemocrat1789 Yeah man, I am totally losing it. I'm a total nutjob. It's amazing how I am able to make a great living being this crazy.
tehbabes 1 month ago
@SocialDemocrat1789 He took ownership of the comments (that he did not write) because his staffers told him it would be better to just take ownership than to make excuses and talk his way out of it. He did not write the offending material. Accept that or not.
tehbabes 1 month ago
@SocialDemocrat1789 If he did not write the material, is clearly not a racist, and has never said anything of the sort that is being quoted, then it logical to assume that the only nutjobs are the people still hanging riding the "Ron Paul is racist" wagon. No?

@Dscheller89 I'm not an American citizen, you moron. Look at my location.

@SocialDemocrat1789 haha, my bad. But i am not a horrible human being. :-) if you could please show me how Dr Paul is anything you said he is I will give you a high five.

@SocialDemocrat1789 I asked you to show me because I have looked into this guy and can find nothing of the sort. But I shall check out what you just told me. Peace :-)
Dscheller89 1 month ago
@SocialDemocrat1789 1. He obviously didn't write the racist material. 2. It's 15 years old for christs sake. and 3. Listen to what he is saying today, even a two year old can see the man is far from anything racist. It's just a bunch of old bs being dug up to hurt his campaign. If someone honestly believes Ron Paul is a racist person then I don't know what to say, get your head checked.
tehbabes 1 month ago
@tehbabes well, it's a shame that you're so far removed from reality. As I said, amusing to me to see that you think you aren't one of the Ron Paul nutjobs.

Not the first to do so, and I'm sure won't be the last.

@SocialDemocrat1789 Yes I am a Paultard, a Paulbot, or whatever name you want to call me. Great argument buddy, resorting to name calling is always a winner.
tehbabes 1 month ago
@tehbabes he PROMOTED, and PROFITED from the filth he printed. In 1995 he said of the racist quotes from his newsletter (written in first person): "If someone challenges your character and takes the interpretation of the NAACP as proof of a man's character, what kind of a world do you live in?"

a living wage for adults is more like $18 an hour as most jobs will probably be part time with layoffs for work slow downs.

The mayor refused over $7.67
TheSTEFSTUF 1 month ago
@TheSTEFSTUF I understand where you're coming from, I live in New York. But I also believe that in today's America each state is it's own culture. Life in New York is nothing like Life in Alaska, Texas, or California. That's why I think the states should have some say over these things. I've watched hours of past debates and interviews of him and he is always consistent. I am beginning to believe that he knows what is best for the country right now.
bubbamann547 1 month ago
@bubbamann547 I worry that no matter how much funding is allocated to New York they will never allow the end of poverty. Perhaps a new mayor focused on improving the quality of life will make a living wage priority, minimum wage is for teenagers.Ron Paul doesn't plan on intervening which is one of the many caution flags for Ron Paul. With out governing and policing anything goes and the states cannot be given free reign.
TheSTEFSTUF 1 month ago
@TheSTEFSTUF It is up the the people in each state (not the president) to demand that their local elected officials do right by them or vote them out. It requires effort and a little work on individuals part but that is the only way to have a government by the people and for the people.

@eldongb1 thoes were the good old days but how long will it take how many years of your life and my life will getting back to that will it take? 18 years ago you could get a $3 breakfast special complete with coffee and juice. It sounds good i dont think rich people want to make less money.
TheSTEFSTUF 1 month ago
@TheSTEFSTUF it only took 20 years to go from jobs and decent amount of high paying jobs to competing with China(slave labor) to see who's citizens' work(life) is cheaper in a race to the bottom. Ten years and we could have high paying jobs and money that's more valuable if we put tariffs back and end the FED's counterfeiting. Second, rich people's money would buy more and sell more because you'd have valuable money to give them.
eldongb1 1 month ago
@eldongb1
they are speaking of bringing some overseas jobs back home, on the news tonight, here is an opportunity to see if they will remain low wage. the timing is strange with none of the cuts in place or any of the changes made how can bringing back those jobs help unless they offer decent wages based on knowing what Americans need to be successful.
TheSTEFSTUF 1 month ago
@TheSTEFSTUF Oh, don't worry, they'll bring jobs back...by lowering taxes so as to bring low wage jobs from China over here. At first they won't be as low a wage, but they will probably say in a few years that minimum wage is too high and we need jobs more than high paying ones. They certainly don't want to tie wages to things like food, fuel, or time. Imagine if $1 = 1hr. Would gas be 3hrs per gallon? Or would 1hr/$ buy 5 gallons?
eldongb1 1 month ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@TheSTEFSTUF There'd be jobs if we restored the tariff, and $7.67 might be enough if they stopped printing so much money that it's worth a thrid what it was fifteen years ago. If you made minimum wage 15yrs ago you could buy 5 gallons of gas- now minimum wage gets you 3 or less. That is because of the FED, so if you END THE FED the dollar would be worth more; fuel would cost less because of it. If we did away with insurance, health care costs would go down, and be affordable
eldongb1 1 month ago
If people can think for themselves, instead of G.E.(NBC) you know that the only way than Ron Paul will lose, or be a 'spoiler' is if you don't vote for him. Ron wants to get kids off drugs and get drugs off the streets and out of schools and black markets, by putting them on shelves where somebody needs an ID or prescription to purchase them.
eldongb1 1 month ago
@eldongb1 Ron Paul actually said it's none of business or govts to say you can't use drugs or save you from yourself. if the states make it legal for you to use heroin and you choose to you have the freedom to do it. A lot of young people will do it, it may destroy our society by over indulgence. He doesn't think drug use should be regulated, but the profits from donations, (celebrity) rehabs, step downs, continued treatment and support programs makes it ok.
TheSTEFSTUF 1 month ago
@TheSTEFSTUF Do you think you're making sense? Drug use isn't regulated. Drug distribution, manufacture, and possession is CONTROLED. Ron Paul wants to regulate them just like tobacco or alcohol, so instead of buying dope at school, kids will have to wait until they can legally buy them with ID or prescription. It's a health issue, and you can't legislate morality which is what he's referring to when he says gov isn't there to save you from yourself.
eldongb1 1 month ago
@eldongb1
TheSTEFSTUF 1 month ago
@TheSTEFSTUF You completely misunderstand what he said. By state issue, he means the federal government isn't endowed with authority to do that, and that only states can make laws regarding them as the constitution doesn't empower federal government to do so. What's crazy is saying drug addicts destroy other people's lives whiie simultaneously acting as though they will destroy more if you require photo ID. Prostitutes rarely need rescuing where it's legal/regulated as Nevada.
eldongb1 1 month ago

eldongb1 1 month ago
@TheSTEFSTUF Some people getting drunk and violent doesn't make it 'crazy' to say people have a right to choose what they drink, or otherwise ingest. Al Capone killed people not because he was drunk, but because of profits from selling liquor illegally. Most people addicted to crack never would be if they weren't able to get it at school or on the street. Profits would dry up if regulated where you need a prescription, Outlawing has been proven to not decrease use but encourage it.
eldongb1 1 month ago
@TheSTEFSTUF Prostitutes in states/countries where it's legal aren't in need of rescuing like ones with pimps. That's because there's regulations like licensing, and the use of condoms. Pimps are eliminated and outlawed which eliminates much of the violence problem. It's also been shown that when legalized the rate of prostitution does not go up- so making it illegal doesn't reduce it, or make it safer. States can outlaw it, but the federal gov. has no authority to do so.
eldongb1 1 month ago
@TheSTEFSTUF You've got that kinda backwards. If it's none of governments business, that means the DEA basically goes out of business and they're legalized federally. If states make it illegal, THEN you won't have that freedom.
