The RC planes that are made to look like birds (of prey) never really interested me. But I have to admit, that's pretty cool. Especially with the glide ratio it displays. Thumbs up.
Heyyy!!! Looks just like mine! I got mine from BP hobbies last year, and am still enjoying flying it. I put a spar in the main wing, added 2 bamboo skewers as spars to the rear V tail, a larger then required brushless motor and controller. I added a wheel to the underside of the eagle where you would see a wheel on a sailplane, and 2 air scoops for intake and exhaust of fresh air for the electronics. I've had mine so high I nearly lost sight of it! Makes a great camera mount!
Dude, very cool! Im sure most people who saw that flying wouldnt bat an eye with it buzzing around. Just think it was a bird soaring around. Wonder if critters would run like hell seeing that thing swooping down at them!? LOL. Thumbs up from me Tom! ~~Robert.
Glad you got one in the end Tom and you seem to like it with the ailerons on it,i didn't bother with mine because i like it how it is for those relaxing flying days ;-)
Still haven't painted mine yet only because i've been to busy with other projects lol but i'll do it before the summer is over.
It always amaze me how many people comment on mine when i fly it ;-) great flight and keep them coming mate.
Awesome FPV platform! Nobody will notice when you circle around people's properties :) The motor seems to be quiet enough to conceal it's true identity!
@hairlesshippy Try going on rcgroups as there is loads of good info on this bird there mate,it could be down to your CoG because quite a few people have had the same problem with it not flying right,my battery is well back from where it should be ;-) she flies really well.

kool . no stabalizer finn! flies good
420choky 7 months ago
@420choky the V tail is technically the ventricle and horizontal stabilizer. there are real planes, fighters even, that have just V-tails
