I seriously would not be surprised if creatures like this rose from the deep when we've polluted the water with too much garbage, oil, and the reduced populations of sea life left in the wake of human expansion. We don't know what's in most of the seas.
@lordaere .Interesting-and very possible...its been my personal theory whatever we awaken will come from above-possibly lured by our future collective radio frequency -especially now that so much the Earths gold is already mined-a militarily superior race with technology beyond ours is certainly possible in my opinion.
@anuangelseyes Yup...And if they came from above there'd be no happy ending when the creatures die via disease ala war of the worlds or some bullshit. they'll be prepared. the extermination of our race will just be trivial to them. we wont stand a chance haha
@ixsetf its dirge like progression and the fact that its horror laiden depths churn at a slow pace almost ritualistically hypnotic full of dread, think about what doom actually means and how it relates to those succumbed to cthulhus splendors, rather than a stereotypical music genre besides i could ask why you think its black but i dont care, just enjoy
@cattycats4 I would not call those tremolo picked riffs slow in the same way that doom is slow, and portal always includes these technical bits that would throw that off, but I can kinda see what your saying, I still don't think it's doom but it does have a few similarities here and there.
"bow, oh graving faces..." This is what's going to be playing for Cthulhu's second coming. Portal conjure the worst sort of dread: the nameless/faceless horror of some other dimension slowly seeping into our own. People seem to either love 'em or hate 'em, I think they're the best thing to happen to 'metal' in years.
i started listening to another song and didn't dig it so I moved on and just let it keep playing...shits amazing. I don't usually like stuff so distorted except for doom but like...omg
I think its vile and sinister enough, what more can you ask from musical aspect possessed by souch artist.
these guys are definitely trying sing their way to hells deepest depth
in a good way, dont understand though, what is their purpose and message
but its evil as a dinosaur gets melted between hot magma and satan . all support to underground music. have anyone seen their visuals in live ?? holy shit ..
pree sweet, if anybody is interested, the band nile writes a lot of lovecraft concept songs. definatly worth a listen

Epic. One of the best songs about cthulu thus far. Like Metallica's old stuff and Black dahlia murder's shit, but this owns all!

Impenetrable, borderline pretentious, dark, vicious, uncompromising, guttural, mind-blowing, merciless, sanity-smashing, horrific, foreboding, bleak, and hellish.
Oh, and awesome.
