But if your concerned that it's not a good pc build one with core i7 990x or i7 970 both 6 cores but the 990x is the fastest CPU out in the market. @665346 @TheHuntleyOPS I believe that thing is a special Dell addon. Mine has one and everything I see on it is that it is there to support the weight and size of the card but it is not necessary. Not sure if it will fit with a replacement card or in a new case. Its explained in this It is simply a sign of Dell quality.

@baret32 i doubt that because we would need another pannel to work on. but i have a tip. you just need to cut out the window. use a dremmil and a marker . then use any thin layer of plastic of some sort, and apoxy it on... or just glue it with superglue. but just make sure that u cut the lines on places with space to spare.

I bought also an i-7 with a great video card. It was rated 10/10/10 for processor, video card and RAM. (8) But it crashed alot and produced alot of tearing images. I brought it back and bought the same one again, hoping that the issues were gone. But they were not. I have to make sure that I buy the right PC now!

All this does is remove the layer of heat applied from the computer transposed from the hot components inside.

BTW, I expiremented around by taking out the gpu and running games on the integrated graphics, and was still able to play fallout new vegas on ultra hh graphics, but it lags about a split second though....
