  • this is so beautiful that dislikes don`t dare appear despite being there

  • STUPENDO!!

  • I love Your performance !

  • There`s so much I`d like to say about this video. It leaves my heart breathless.

  • can you see the dislike bar, cause i sure as hell cant!

  • The two dislikes are people who are jealous of this guy's skill. but don't have it. They can die in a hole.

  • BRAVO. PRECIOSO.

  • i lol'ld at the single clap at 0.27 xD but of couse A Great Performance!

  • Very good.

  • fine violin sound

  • fine violi sound

  • What a great performance!!

Good style and techniqe of both hands.

    Good school!!

    What is the school/teacher name?

  • This is so unbelievably beautiful

  • Love it.~♥

  • hahahahahe he was so funny to watch when he plays but he played very god.

  • someone missed the like-button...

  • Great performance, great sound in G string

  • @Perlman78 fail

  • i wanna know how to use vibrato

  • Esibizione di gran classe a Reggio Calabria questa sera al Teatro Cilea.

Una interpretazione magnifica. Ascoltare così la musica è un piacere !

  • I keep coming back to this. It's already one of the most beautiful melodies, and Ugorski plays it, I have to say, perfectly. Lifschitz is a sensitive accompanist, which makes a lot of difference in the overall presentation. This may be the best performance of this piece I have ever heard.

  • i can't believe there's a dislike...

i really love this melodie... so beautiful

  • @LiaCheri The dislike just blows your mind, doesn't it? What kind of neanderthal could find fault with this performance?

  • Phenomenal performance!

  • Although the vibrato sounds nice, it feels so rough and harsh.

  • @khira07 No offense. But can you do better? Perhaps a tutorial?

  • @harrison28514 . Mr. Ugorski is a professional violinist and he's one of my favorites, and his rendition of Tchaikovsky's Melodie is the one I listen to the most. I did commend him for the vibrato, I just said that it feels harsh and tense. Never said I could do better.

  • @khira07 thank you for the recommendation

  • this is amazing, the best!

  • Superb!

  • Wow!Bravo!

  • que linda interpretacion ... senti como si estubiese hay ...jaja pero igual tocas genial

me gusto mucho tu actuacion n.n

  • I know for a fact that his bow arm is most definitely not French. His teachers, Igor and Vesna Gruppman, are known for being one of the few who actually teach the Auer bow arm, more commonly known as the Russian bow arm or grip. I would know, I studied with both of them!

  • beautiful technique, but i feel the vibrato is a bit too violent for such a piece.

  • Wow!

    Perfect!

  • wow this is so pretttty!

I heard him with the houston symphony playing the best paganini concerto ive ever heard. it was crazy! genius player can't wait to see him play live again

  • Insanely beautiful performance by Eugene Ugorski.

  • Because it's a titiled "melodie" isn't it, and it is a very majestic and royal sounding piece, but it's like looking at a sculpture that's supposed to be incredibly beautiful, but the message of the beauty that's supposed to be displayed can't reach me, because some of the edges and the surface of the sculpture are jagged or have not been properly smoothed out.

  • It sounds beautiful and amazing in itself, but the there's something off about the violinist, at least in my opinion. I think it's the vibrato, it's sounds too forced. But then again I could always be wrong, does anyone share my opinion?

  • Comment removed

  • This was just beautiful! I had not heard of Eugene Ugorski before today. I hope I hear a lot more. The local classical radio station in my area plays a lot of Joshua Bell, but I think this young man is at least as good.

  • Incredibly beautiful

  • it's so rich and lush!

  • i love this piece so much! :)

  • Nice to see this video of you sweety... :)

  • I think his vibrato is a bit too fast!

  • Eugene is one of the best out there... looking at a prodigy :D - Zivic

  • Excellent, it is a pleasure to listen to this duo of talented musicians.

  • amazing performance of this beautiful piece by my favorite Genius - composer !^^

  • The bow hold is actually more French. The deep pronation gives the tone color that distinctive dark soudn that you hear up against the bridge. It really works for a piece like this. If anything it might make staccato more difficult.

He has a very signiture tone color coming from his bow arm.

THe elbow would be up over his shoulder if it were a Conventional Russian bow arm.

  • Eugene Ugorski is simply amazing... the best!

  • Tchaikovsky had such a gift for melody, and these two interpreted it beautifully. Great performance.

  • lovely

  • Nice!

  • Excellent performance!

  • I should try holding my bow like that. Maybe it makes the upbow staccato easier?

  • there is a difference between conventional and russian bowing.....i cant give u much more info, on the fact that i play piano, not violin......:)
