When you read between the lines you get the sense they are just trying to promote MMA amongst all youth and trying to squash the bad assumptions that this is somehow bad for kids. I would like to believe that as a good instructor their dad teaches them the responsibilties that come with the use of the arts. Martial arts is for life its not a fad. Lots of kids learn martial arts at an early age and practice all their life. Good luck to them, they are lucky to be learning a popular sport.

They are great kids with great potential. My son is the same hope one day they are all out there in ufc. We do the same with education it comes first. Also how do you deal with sponsers cause I had a couple that want to sponser my son but I've said no his won in naga, Texas state champ.

honestly bro...those kids hands are fucking shocking..i boxed so much nicer than that when i was at that same young age, all respect for the kids for training hard and everything but so did I when i was at their age and so did a lot of other kids that i know, and its just bad to learn bad habbits from a young age these kids need a proper BOXING coach because the hands are just awfull and look at the last few UFC cards, boxing is clearly becoming big impact in MMA.

very good kids.but to be honest.these kids shouldent be sparring now.doing pushups and hitting the mits and stuff is good for them but since they are just kids there bones,ligaments,body overall hasent grown enough.hope they stay healthy when they are 20.

i have trained in judo since i was 5 and im 17 now i go all over america to train with and fight the best i am nationaly ranked as a jr, so i no the impact this will have on these kids bodies. i just hope they understand the damage they r going to get, bc there is a reason many combat sport careers end fast. but if they love it and understand it they should pursue their dreams

@enygma2u The striking in training? They are not of age to be striking and sparring, but i guess jr wrestling is allowed.

@Jonzer1983 I've been in gyms where people have had kids doing boxin'/MMA at a young age w/no head gear or nothing until ya bust 'em on it. It's out there man. Maybe not in the larger establishments, but it's happening.

honestly bro...those kids hands are fucking shocking..i boxed so much nicer than that when i was at that same young age, all respect for the kids for training hard and everything but so did I when i was at their age and so did a lot of other kids that i know, and its just bad to learn bad habbits from a young age these kids need a proper BOXING coach because the hands are just awfull and look at the last few UFC cards, boxing is clearly becoming big impact in MMA.

@DangerousDejan the only time i thought they were bad at boxing was when they were shadow boxing, when they were hitting the pads i didnt think anything was wrong with there hands ? and im sure alot of people think the same thing

@DangerousDejan to be fair they both wrestle a lot too so yeah, they're striking isn't going to be as good as yours was........... you are right though the standard for striking in MMA is improving with time.

very good kids.but to be honest.these kids shouldent be sparring now.doing pushups and hitting the mits and stuff is good for them but since they are just kids there bones,ligaments,body overall hasent grown enough.hope they stay healthy when they are 20.

@LiTTleT1989 i'll give you that. but some other nations would look at it as normal. like muay thai is thailand, not only children as young as 6 years old are sparring, they fight for money without wearing headgear.

i have trained in judo since i was 5 and im 17 now i go all over america to train with and fight the best i am nationaly ranked as a jr, so i no the impact this will have on these kids bodies. i just hope they understand the damage they r going to get, bc there is a reason many combat sport careers end fast. but if they love it and understand it they should pursue their dreams

@alissoman are you fucking kidding me? i am a mixed martial artist with a 4 year old and a 2 both of my kids, which are girls train mma and love it. they come up to me and say daddy can we go train can we go box. my kids also do swim lessons and play soccer and paint and color and spend hours a week playing at the park. but because they like to train mma they're losing their infancy? come on.
