  • IdaMiaDot, If you don't like how they treat their animals, why don't u grow some yourself?! This is the most economically humane way to produce pork. The pigs don't know that they're missing sunlight, dirt, and fresh grass... They are not abused either! If you wanna see abuse, look at the HUGE factories that keep pigs and chickens, and cows. They torment and abuse them 24/7.

People are omnivores! We should naturally eat animal protein; flesh, eggs, milk, fat...

    (That's why vegetarians need su

  • The foul stench of corporatism

  • theses pigs never see daylight, or sunshine.

  • Birthing of the animals should happen on some type of beading, it would be better for all concerned

  • Im sorry to say this but im a vegtrion and i hate cruelty and meat!

  • Farmers like those animals to suffer real good.

  • Wow, everyone needs to grow up. The whole point of this video is to show you guys just how the animal comes from the farm to your plate. Newsflash, the animal dies at some point so that you can eat it -- and they are all hand-butchered. Sorry if that bothers you, but that's how food is made. You can be assured that they have had a humane life and as humane a death as possible, if you don't like it don't eat it, and don't stop others from eat it.

  • I LOVE ANIMALS!!!!!!!

  • Sick Humans.Karma.Hope you get it!

  • Quite delicoius animals :)

  • Kinda happy music. Don't you think you ought to play something more somber since you're displaying a deceased animal that you've given a name?

  • I am related to the pig trainer from Babe 1 & 2 and Charlottes Web. Pigs are unbelieveably inteligent creatures who do know love. Seeing that poor pig dead like that killed for nothing more than to be eaten, ugh! It disgusts me.

  • They do it for cost. Everything is about money. Animals aren't even being treated like living beings.

  • OK, so... you went to a pig farm, show all their faces, development, charm... then turn around and showed a skinned pig... that's disturbing.

I eat pork, but that was a dick move. I don't want to see something alive and promising, then mutilated like that and then expect to eat it. C'mon...

  • It sounds horrible when the body parts have the same name as human body parts. I am vegan

  • go vegan please, "they""are torturing our creatures, God's creautres. Christians out there, where is your compassion?

  • This is better than USA. If you watch the documentary ' From farm to fridge', it's much worse

  • GO VEGAN!

Exploitation and murder are wrong, of any sentient being!

  • @XVeganDaveGodFreeX LOL they are not "Sentient" Troll. If they were, they'd fight back.

    My advice for you? GDIAF

  • @XVeganDaveGodFreeX LOL U MAD bro? I wasn;t even trying... Too easy!

For being a vegan, you sure aren't bright!

  • Comment removed

  • @XVeganDaveGodFreeX LOL U MAD. So MAD you describing yourself! Although you get one point: You are not worth the time because you are sooo easy to piss off!

    1/10 U MAD and FAIL.

  • Were they trying to put a light twist on the slaughter of the pigs. If you noticed they tried to avoid the word slaughter. Go vegetarian!!!

  • Mmmmmmmm pork is delicious. I am eating bacon in the morning. I see nothing wrong with eating these animals. They are delicious.

  • no more pock pie

  • Thank God I'm a vegetarian !

  • This is awful.

  • is this a peta video in disguise?

  • one of those piglets in the second weaning shed was orange fured with brown spots. was that one a throw back, plus would the farmer kill such a rare patterned pig?

wouldn't it be better to keep such a patterned pig for breeding more pigs like it, maybe as pets.

i am guessing all those pigs have been turned into cutlets by now, i don't eat pig flesh myself but those pens do look barren and sparse, all that pasture, couldn't the farmer let those pigs out for a root in the ground once a day?

  • @uching Spotted pigs are not rare!!! Gloucester Odd Spot, there's an example. The spotted pig wouldve been treated the same as the others.

  • pigs are pretty cool

  • Hi nice video

  • i guess we should house the pigs in their own seperate appartments with air conditioning and expanded cable.

  • My sows are free to roam and have the piglets naturally. Farrow crates are awful things.

  • @shell181 When I was a kid we did that. lost on average 1 pig per litter because the sow would lay on the piglet. That was much more humane for the piglet.

  • The true PIGS are those who think that putting animals giving birth into metal contraptions with no space to care for their young is humane. I hate these horribly greedy people who treat animals like they are commodities while still sentient and aware, if God exists then I hope he makes them feel every bit of suffering they ever inflicted on souls, be they animal or human, that would be true JUSTICE in my opinion. These manufacturers are BEASTS in a truer sense than the animals are.

  • Please only buy organic meat, eggs, milk & butter - organic animals cannot be fed hormones & antibiotics and therefore can't survive these conditions, which means they have to be treated better - more space, cleaner conditions etc Don't buy cheap food!

  • A part of me died when I saw those pigs, poor creatures in a tight space, bred for meat and making more piggies. Nobody seems like they show love and kindness to each pig. Even just one...

  • Corporations

  • i have one of this in minecraft :D

  • Okay, how many idiots are commenting on this video? I'd call ED ASAP, but with so many stupid enviromentalist-wannabes, vegans, hipsters and sociopaths declaring their love for slaughtering animals, there's a good chance they are already here and trolling each other. Because i refuse to believe so many morons can be clustered together in one place.

    ...

Wait a second. I almost forgot this is YouTube. I take back everything I said, these people are really this stupid.

  • Nice farm...it is true that you have to put the mother in a tight space, so it won't hurt the baby.

  • SUPER BUTCHER!!!!

    I lol'd

  • How the heck could a scrawny guy make a big fat girl change phone plans? manipulated maybe since he's true father of her person

  • OINK!

  • They're all pellet fed? Not one of those pigs has ever eaten a vegetable? I think that any animal raised for its meat should have a varying diet. It improves meat flavor.

The pig farm owns all those acres, can't the pigs be occasionally let outside in a fenced off area to dig for roots and exercise in less confined spaces? Maybe some of the pigs could be loaned to agricultural farms to turn up soil in place of the use of heavy machinery.

  • @ObeyBunny are you kidding me? do you realize the chances of disease by transporting hogs from your farm to another then back to your farm.....haha you tree huggers make me laugh

  • @Maada1 see what americans do in the animals and birds before slaughter

    watch?v=oMskHn5thGU

  • Beautiful documentary, really shows the love and respect the farmers show there animals. I really enjoyed it as a future chef and butcher in training.

  • @PhuckenSchwasHere

love and respect.. you must be joking.

Do you show your dog or cat such love and respect?

How can you talk about love and respect towards an animal you bring to life with a plan of killing it as soon as it grows big enough? I'm afraid you don't know the meanings of these two words :(

And if you had some love and respect to people you'd choose another job, as serving peolpe meat means serving them sth that contributes to their ilnesses and death.

  • @Maada1 You just don't understand that culinary is art. Just as a painter respects his paints knowing with out them he would have no painting. A chef respects the animal knowing it is providing its life to provide the meal. Don't act like you don't eat, its survival of the fittest, and if you didn't have your spoiled little white american attitude burnt out on media and force fed liberal bull shit that you get so bored you begin to protest fiscal things because you've been so sheltered

  • Comment removed

  • @Maada1 Your entire life that you couldn't make it a day with your silly little structured life style. If you'd step off your high horse you'd realize that man is intended to eat meat. We posses canine teeth, and there are many carnivorous animals in the wild. We just happen to be the most supreme of them. Being a chef is providing a needed service to the community and enriching a art form. You cannot say that meat causes illnesses because a lack of protein will cause illness.

  • @PhuckenSchwasHere

We are not carnivores, it's a complete lack of any knowledge on your side.

We are omnivores, we can eat almost everything and survive. It was useful in the past. Now, when we've created meat and dairy industry there's no point of eating meat or dairy, they are extremely unhealthy. Animals store in their bodies dioxins, PCB, pesticides, are given hormones etc. Plants are contaminated, too, but still advantages of eating them outbalance the threats.

  • @Maada1 complete lack of knowledge on our side? son you need to rethink your strategy....im a farmer i raise both market and show swine. i can tell you right now the time and effort that goes into the reproduction and raising of any animal for that matter makes it well worth it....and as for your comment about the "toxins" in livestock produced for market consumption....shove it up your ass there is nothing wrong with eating meat.

  • @Maada1 WAH WAH WAH WAH WAH WAHHHH (charlie brown teacher voice)

  • @Maada1 I'm proud of what I do, and I respect all of the animals that help. As much as I love animals in the wild I can still butcher and cook them to nourish myself, my family, and my customers. Survival of the fittest my friend, and when you get older the worlds going to eat you up if you keep that mentality.

  • for those who are interested letthemeatmeat is a great blog that debunks vegan abolitionist propaganda

  • and the poor pigs dont ever get to see day light or walk on grass !

  • dude pigs have been known to kill piglets sometimes and realy pigs dont need so much space

  • i don't believe that the pig is in such a tight pen so that her babies won't "get hurt" by her. It's so very cruel. Unimaginable the life those pigs have. torturous... and they are such smart creatures :(

  • @Andearea theyre also mean as hell. we are warned to never stand still or lose consciousness in a piggery, as they will devour you alive.

  • @Andearea That's just for birth/drinking from their mother.

  • @Andearea there is a difference between food, and pets....

we love our pets...we eat our food

a word of advice,,,never put yourself in the place of your food, never name your food

  • @AlanMolstad I named my mulefoot hogs. But I dont eat them just their babies! lol

  • @Andearea Y, poor pigs. Raw food is an answer, besides that meat, as it descovered now, is no good for humans in anyway.

  • @ludmilalloyd meat is no good for humans? where did you read that on a peta website? the only reason we can not eat meat now is because of technology.

  • @ludmilalloyd

O'rly? WTF are the fangs for then?

Eat plants, eat animals, they all have feelings the same.

  • @N4CR5 Look at your teeth - you dont have real fangs like preditors animal; you dont want to catch goat and tear out a part of it; get bloody & eat it.when you look at fruit - you want to eat it, We are not designed to eat animals, we are fruit-eaters. We dont kill fruits they designed to be used.

We began eating cooked meat in the Ice Age Era.

Make reserch on Row Food Diet if you want to make your life easier, safe fortune of money, get healthy, live long life in stable health state.

  • @Andearea That sow is probably a couple hundred kilos and as he said, they can get agitated during birth and often roll over on top of their own piglets crushing them. Not only does it keeps the piglets safe but also keeps the sow secure. I agree that their life at the piggery isn't what those animals deserve, but it's unfortunately the price that is paid to meet the demand for meat.

  • @Andearea they taste good mnia mnia

  • @Andearea the system is getting super good for them, because theyre trying to give the best life for the animal, this is to increase the production and quality.

  • i havn't watched any of these video of from farmer gate to your plate somthing like that yet and i LOVE!!! pigs SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much, i do think its sad to kill them but they are sooooo YUMMY!!! with the ribs.

ok nloved video and cool byexxx:]

  • This is probably the best industrial pig farm ever, but It is not growing good free range organic pork... I prefer my pork to be pasture / forest raised.

  • Yummy!!!

  • "from gate to your plate" WTF WTF WTF

  • It appears that they actually keep their pigs clean and not TOO crowded. I'm not too offended by this, but the 'big-name' places, I will never be ok with and will never give my money too. If they did the things they do to pigs in factories to humans, people would think differently, but, oh, they're "just pigs" and obviously have no emotions, right? no. Pigs are smarter than dogs. I love pigs and would never disgrace a lovely pig by eating its remains from a horrid, miserable life. thanks.

  • @DoomMoofy amen

  • Fun Fact. pigs are smarter than dogs. Another fun fact certain pig organs and pig fat is almost identical to Human organs and Fat. To me super markets should not sell meat, and if you want to eat meat so damn bad then you need to go out kill your own, and if you cant handle killing something on your own (YOU NEED SOMEONE TO DO THE DIRTY WORK FOR YOU) cause your a pussy. then just dont eat meat... should be a world wide law

  • Farmer Ron sure does talk a lot!!! lol

  • ce porcarie

  • thats how you should grow food, very nice, this should be a world standerd.

  • Ahhh fresh meat, fresh bacon, make us fat!

  • Thank you for these videos. I strongly believe in educating people about where their food comes from - some are comfortable with it, others aren't, but either way we know that meat doesn't magically appear in a package in the grocery store. I appreciate the neutral tone you have as well.

  • @terrillcase1 ok sure

  • @terrillcase1 Yes, the omnivore diet is backed by over six billion eaters world wide. And that's just the humans. All other top of the food chain species also back the carnivore and omnivore diets. Not only that, but the more intelligent species are found in the carnivores and omnivores. Scientific research says that it is because our ancestors have eaten meat for millions of years that we developed more advanced brains. The very existence of our ability to question is due to meat eating.

  • @terrillcase1 you can choose to believe what you want but im sure people see you as a scum of the earth..

  • @pebbles92able Personal attacks and abusive comments like that don't impress anyone.

  • @pubwvj how am i abusive. Contributing ethics and keeping aware of animal abuse is not abusive. In fact im hinting the right message.

  • @pebbles92able You are verbally abusive of other people. You are bullying. What you're doing has nothing to do with ethics but is rather an example of you simply being nasty when other people don't do as you want. You're throwing a tantrum. The personal attacks and abuse you're doing are not necessary. Your choice to eat no meat is fine, for you. But there is no need for you to be abusive to other people because they don't want to eat your diet. Back off and calm down.

  • @pubwvj im actually really calm hahaha. wierd. You are the one who posted a comment so you back off. I was just minding my own business.

  • @terrillcase1 Thank you for being someone who talks sense. These vegan extremists just don't get it. They're spreading miss-information and outright lies. It is sad that their intolerance takes them to this debased level. It is almost like there is something in the food they eat that makes them unbalanced. It is fine if someone wants to have a vegan or vegetarian diet but they should recognize that it is their personal choice, not for everyone and that it is not sustainable in all climates.

  • @terrillcase1 Its definitely emotional immaturity. Little children will only do what makes them happy and only do things to be selfish. Adults are meant to mature and grow out of that.

  • @terrillcase1 Thats called emotional immaturity, to only be able to do things that make you happy and refuse to do anything else.

  • @terrillcase1 Omg. Its not about happiness. You completely do not get it. Wow. You have something missing. You cant even comprehend doing something unless it makes you happy. Most of us dont do charity work or selfless things because it makes us happy, we do it because we feel an obligation to help those less fortunate than us. I cant even comprehend someone being so selfish. I hope youre joking. You seem really emotionally stunted.

  • @ByeByeBelly people will be people. We just happen to be evolved among the rest. :) Yup its just like history repeating itself. I just dont get how people can see animals as food or commodities. Its just sickening.

Your right i shouldnt even care what they say. I dont think they will ever be enlightened because they choose to be nescient.

  • @pebbles92able Btw did you know that plants are living as well? Just saying so you know.

  • @Xinyuan12345 yeah but do you know the animals you eat can actually feel? Thought you should know.

  • @pebbles92able Sure I know. But you vegans think that eating meat is bad because you have to kill an animal in order to get it, but I'm telling you that you're killing a plant to get your food. Plants have feelings too (or at least I think so).

  • @Xinyuan12345 dont make prepositions or conjectures if you dont even know the truth. Certainly some plants have sensory receptors but not most and the ones that we eat happens to not .

  • @pebbles92able Dude, I didn't say anything about plants feeling pain... I simply said that plants are living. You kill a plant, how is that more humane than killing an animal? Is it because an animal knows and understands pain? Imagine if you were the plant... You live a happy life and grow up. Then someone grabs you up and ties you up in a bundle for sale, and you get chopped up and thrown into a pot or a pan for some vegan who doesn't want to feel the guilt of eating animals.

  • @pebbles92able I am with you on that fact. I hate how the Americans coop up their chickens, pigs, and cows and make them get so large and fat just so that we can eat them. However, humans are meant to eat meat- we are naturally omnivores.

  • @Xinyuan12345 not all humans were meant to eat meat. people change their health regimen all the time because there is alternatives to get proteins and such. but yes it is cruel indeed.

  • @pebbles92able Humans are naturally more inclined to eat meat than to eat some protein substitute, as meat provided much more protein for the space that it takes up in your stomach than beans or tofu ever would. Only many years later have people begun to realize that there are other alternatives to get protein, like tofu or beans. And yes, it is cruel how we treat our meat here in the US.

  • @Xinyuan12345 sure if you want to get pathogens such as ecoli, salmonella, and listeria, diabetes, morbid obesity, colon cancer, cardiovascular dysfunction and such, you go ahead and eat your decomposed flesh while i do it the healthy and the disease preventable way, not to mention guilty free way :)

  • @pebbles92able All of those listed conditions usually happen when people get carried away or mess-up. If you eat healthy amounts of meat, you will almost never encounter conditions like those. Plus, I don't think that people who eat meat would feel "guilt". If they do, then there is clearly something wrong with them unless if their religion/cultures says it's wrong to do so. Or if you simply do not like the taste of meat.

  • @Xinyuan12345 as a rebel against socioculture im not exactly the kind of person to be told this. In my so called "culture" it is ok for rodeo and bullfights yet i find it barbaric and sickening. meat is disgusting and its dead corpse and id rather eat other ways rather than eating an animal that was massacred to death and thats why im guit free. It is time that ppl become civilized and when that happens there wont be such thing as torture.

  • @pebbles92able Dude, people don't usually "torture" their food before they eat it. I understand that you think eating "dead corpses" of animals is disgusting, but hey! All countries in the world eat meat, because it is a traditional thing to do. Also, meat is a better supplement of protein, as tofu/beans do not have many of the things that meat have.

  • @Xinyuan12345 if you knew better you would now the transgression that goes on in the meat factories and yes the animals are slaughtered alive and if you dont think thats torture than you must be deranged. not exactly meat is what causes diseases and infestes the planet. read more about it and then you will become much smarter but for the meantime leave me alone.

  • @pebbles92able Dude, of course they get killed alive! If you want to eat your meat like Chinese people do, they work the cow until it gets muscular and old. When it cannot pull anymore and dies, the Chinese THEN butcher it. Just doesn't taste as good as American beef. If we just waited until the meat dies, then we wouldn't be able to feed ourselves dude. Get it? No one eats something that is really old and tough...just saying.

  • Comment removed

  • @pebbles92able you are funny

  • @244xdatlantico im sorry in what way am i being funny?

  • @Xinyuan12345 Your argument fails... plants do NOT have a central nervous system, or a brain, meaning they are not going to give a shit if you eat it lol. On the other hand i agree with you on meat, personally if i dont eat meat, my brain doesnt fuction right with out it. Great fully i live in hunting country wear i barley ever have to buy super market meat i just hunt my own, kill it quick and humane. the way the world treats livestock and furfarms makes me ashamed at the human race.

  • @bedtime420 It's like killing a dude who can't hear, see, or feel man. Is that still ok? You decide. Humans NEED meat to survive, very few people can survive off of a diet that consists of just tofu/beans and veggies. The tofu/beans do not give enough protein, you need MEAT. Killing the animal for food is okay, long as you just don't fuck it up before you kill it. I agree with you on your last sentence btw.

  • @Xinyuan12345 Ok i see what your driving at, still though its still pretty hard to try compare the life style of plants and animals, i am just going to eat both like i always have and stay healthy . Every time i go out and mow the lawn now i will think of this conversation, and pretend like im cutting the grasses heads off haha

  • @bedtime420 I agree with you. Now excuse me while I cut up my steak viciously...

  • @terrillcase1 So is mine, but I also care about creatures less powerful than myself. This life doesnt last forever. If you invest everything in it and fulfilling your own selfish desires, thats the most youll ever have. But I dont expect any of you to have spirituality. Maybe some cookie cutter religious belief but nothing more.

  • @terrillcase1 Everything you just listed is all about you. friends, family, wife, home, job, blahblah, you you you, what benefits you. Caring about animals and things that dont give you anything in reward is a selfless thing to do. Thats what I was talking about. All you can think about is yourself though

  • @terrillcase1 well enjoy living a life thats just for helping yourself and thinking about yourself. that will get you far. what an empty life

  • @terrillcase1 but why dont you want to?? theyre just animals like pigs etc.

  • Anyway youre all butchers, farmers etc so we can't expect you to have a balanced view since you're profiting off harming animals.

  • @terrillcase1 so why dont you eat dogs and cats? people in other countries do and view them simply as livestock.

  • @terrillcase1 YOUR food, not OUR food.

  • @terrillcase1 well that's closed minded. Youve never tried it but youve already decided you wouldnt enjoy LIFE if you couldnt eat meat??

  • @terrillcase1 I dunno how you can be so passionate about eating dead animals. its weird. it's one thing to be passionate about their welfare... but to be passionate about making sure they suffer. just weird.

  • @terrillcase1 That's completely untrue and you are talking garbage. I'm doing a degree in nutrition and you certainly do not need to eat meat to get all your vitamins and nutrients and you don't need to supplement just because you dont eat meat.

  • @terrillcase1 then you're an asshole of a person basically. congrats

  • Vegan for life!!!!!!!!!!

  • @pebbles92able Omnivore for life!!!!!!! Crimminy you creep. Eat what ever diet you want but don't be such a stupid bloke trying to force it on other people. If you are going to make arguments stick with real facts rather than false information. That is one of the things that bothers me about the vegan evangelists - the lies they insist on spreading. Give it up mon.

  • @ceeceell nope just trying to promulgate people to be educated thats all but everyone has a choice and im not going to judge that. We stick to facts. I have actually talked to a man that worked in a slaughterhouse that now is vegan because of the atrocity he faced working in the livestock production.

  • @pebbles92able Except what you just did was give not facts or science but instead emotion and anecdotal reaction. You're spreading lies. You're typical of the terrorist vegans. Good vegans focus on their diet and leave other people alone.

  • @ceeceell you are the one meddling so whos the one harrasing who ? yeah so think about that

  • @terrillcase1 im sure these pigs iq is far more intelligent than you will ever be. you meat head.

  • I have a PEGAN!

  • The pig buttocks looked like human buttocks.

  • God humans are evil. It's not "best pig farm", they're using farrowing crates for fuck's sake. You sick assholes

  • You may reconize him his name is porky

  • Why cant people just become vegans

  • @pebbles92able

Because the population of this earth is filled with ignorant, compassionless, gluttonous morons.

  • @runtor1988 haha i agree with you :)

  • @runtor1988 haha i agree with you :)

  • Comment removed

  • @pebbles92able Because veganism is an unsustainable, unnatural, unhealthy diet. Veganism requires either long distance high petroleum use transport or supplements. That's bad for the environment. By the way, growing all those vegetables and fruit for you kills BILLIONS of animals through clearing, tillage, weeding, harvesting, pesticides, herbicides and petrol use. Veganism is simply hypocrisy.

  • @pubwvj talking about the environment, animal factories (livestock) destroy the environment daily by emitting greenhouse gas, releasing methane to the global atmosphere. trees are being cut down to take prior authority of land for the factory's, instead to harvest crops such as corn. The animals eat the corn in order to have them overweight. The animals suffer and inflict pain because corn is bad. They are often given antibiotics.

  • @pebbles92able please reread everything i send you and read it slowly.

  • Comment removed

  • @pubwvj The corn is being growned by the use of pesticides and herbicides. The animals are not only eating unhealthy, they live in crammed up space. In fact it is so crammed up that they are surrounded by their defecation and feces and infesting the lands. Once the animals are being slaughtered "Alive" the feces still remains along with the flesh(gross). Meat is so badly maintained that it causes E-coli, meat is so unhealthy for humans that it causes colon cancer and varies other disease.
