I really give you credit for standing out like that. You are very effective in your witness don't ever doubt the impact you are making and the seeds you are planting to save souls. Yes, Jesus is so real and so is Heaven. I look forward to reading the book. God Bless.

The review said this "If Christians really do believe they have The Word of God, the actual true WORD of God HIMSELF, then why would they give such credit to what a 3 year old said without taking it with a grain of salt?'
I read the book right after someone passed away in my family an it helped me out Alot. And the part you talked about was very touching to me too. Probably one of the best books I've ever read.
Never be afraid to "offend" anyone when you speak about Jesus... you are helping them learn about Jesus when you talk about Him. That is what He wants us to do, spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Why are we to believe that the accounts in the book are accurate? What would distinguish this book from another one where the author prefaced it by saying that "The following is a complete work of fiction?"

I'm sure the kid had an out-of-body experience and communicated with the other side. This is certainly not the first time something like this has been reported. I guess you just have to remember that this kid is the son of a pastor and a devout Christian family so obviously he's going to interpret whatever he saw through that lens. It doesn't necessarily verify Christianity. To me it just verifies that there is so much more to this universe than we realize- there is higher guidance, etc.
Anybody who believes this story is absolutely detached from what their religion is all about. To ascertain this story with information being passed as anything other than mental interpretations based on the product of their surroundings is tantamount to believing the earth is flat. The mind runs 1st class simulation software, and this child was running 'Christianity 4.0'. replace that with any other software and you will get a similar situation, just different religion.

You would think that an omnipotent God would be curing disease, or preventing war, etc. instead of kidnapping little obscure, white, north american children for 3 minute field trips to heaven and showing them Magical Rainbow Ghost ponies, and epic angel vs Demon sword battles... Colton was well informed of his grandfather "pop" throughout his childhood, there's nothing peculiar about that, and the people that bring this up obviously read the book with rose colored glasses and seemed to miss that the whole family was informed about "pop". There's pictures of him throughout their house, and home videos they used to show colton - obviously where colton manifested that whole fiasco. It's easy to forget about mom and the sister, since the book omits them.

The book is very well written, and I enjoyed it! Like I said, the mother has a master's in writing, I don't think "dad" wrote the book, not to mention the other auspicious loopholes in the story. Just because a book is well written and happens to be about superstition you believe, doesn't make it any more true.
@cashernandes1 All in all, to believe that a 3 1/2 year old boy saw angels and demons have a sword battle, as well as a sea blue eyed Jesus, riding a rainbow horse, claiming there are colors outside the only prismatic elegy of colors that exist, is indeed the definition of a 3 1/2 year olds dream. If he claimed to have seen buddha, or zeus or apollo, suddenly he would be crazy, but since he mentions YOUR god, that suddenly privileges it to be true. the author of this books mom lives in the same town as i do :) & he came to visit her and this dude in my grade saw him at the store and got his autograph and the next day he actually got to hang out with him and his family
i think this came in the news on cnn.com. im pretty sure I read something like this and the little boy said he spoke to God. He also said that he has two sisters, one the passed before he was born and one that will be born later on.
The book is BS, reason why he says it's heaven and sees Jesus is because his family is Christian. Do you think if this story from a muslem or budhist family would the kid still see Jesus? If you want to read a more plausible idea of heaven read "where dreams may come" IMO
I know heaven exist :), I went to go help out at a kids camp a few yrs ago and these 2 kids that I know actually had encountered Jesus and they went up to heaven. For 2 hrs they were on the ground just crying and their eyes closed the whole time, finally when they were able to get up and talk we asked what did they see

You would think that an omnipotent God would be curing disease, or preventing war, etc. instead of kidnapping little obscure, white, north american children for 3 minute field trips to heaven and showing them Magical Rainbow Ghost ponies, and epic angel vs Demon sword battles... Just understand that Colton is a product of his surroundings, if he were born in the middle east, he would have seen Allah, or born Jewish, he would have seen Abraham. It's a good story... but that's all it is.

- How is it that Colton was aware of the exact locations of his father and mother while the NDE was taking place?
- How else could Colton have known about his Mom's abortion?
- How else could Colton have known about his grandfather and many details concerning his dad's childhood?

1. Atheists have no faith, as a result, claiming I have 'atheist faith' is an oxymoron!
2. Atheists aren't the ones with things "ingrained" (that's how you spell it by the way), that would be the christians who were taken hostage as children.
3. Atheists (including me) don't require "convincing" because we derive our logic (keyword logic) with factual evidence and in this case, deductive reasoning.

Colton DIDN'T know the exact locations, he assumed dad were in the waiting room, most likely because that's what a doctor or his sister mentioned. not to mention to say that he knew they were praying isn't miraculous in the least, considering that the father is a pastor, it's obviously a habitual part of their life. The book doesn't mention mom much, if anything else, mom said so and refrained from admitting it. (mom does have a masters degree in writing too by the way) cont>

@cashernandes1 5. Colton's mom did NOT have an abortion, it was in fact a (supposed) miscarriage. Colton's older sister DID know about the miscarriage and admittedly told colton that a baby girl died in mommy's tummy. It is exactly as his sister described it, which is why colton described it that way as well. For all we know it WAS an abortion and they are lying, because that seems to be something that people do in order to make money, they LIE. continued>

Colton was well informed of his grandfather "pop" throughout his childhood, there's nothing peculiar about that, and the people that bring this up obviously read the book with rose colored glasses and seemed to miss that the whole family was informed about "pop". There's pictures of him throughout their house, and home videos they used to show colton - obviously where colton manifested that whole fiasco. It's easy to forget about mom and the sister, since the book omits them.

@cashernandes1 7. what child DOESN'T know details concerning their parents childhood? I knew all sorts of goofy stories identical to the ones colton unsurprisingly knew! The book is very well written, and I enjoyed it! Like I said, the mother has a master's in writing, I don't think "dad" wrote the book, not to mention the other auspicious loopholes in the story. Just because a book is well written and happens to be about superstition you believe, doesn't make it any more true.

@cashernandes1 All in all, to believe that a 3 1/2 year old boy saw angels and demons have a sword battle, as well as a sea blue eyed Jesus, riding a rainbow horse, claiming there are colors outside the only prismatic elegy of colors that exist, is indeed the definition of a 3 1/2 year olds dream. If he claimed to have seen buddha, or zeus or apollo, suddenly he would be crazy, but since he mentions YOUR god, that suddenly privileges it to be true. Use your head, and it will be clear, I promise

Yeah I am going to read it my dad got it for me, and I a have big test and it is with a big group of people and so when i am done with the test i am going to read it. i think this came in the news on cnn.com. im pretty sure I read something like this and the little boy said he spoke to God. He also said that he has two sisters, one the passed before he was born and one that will be born later on.

The book is BS, reason why he says it's heaven and sees Jesus is because his family is Christian. Do you think if this story from a muslem or budhist family would the kid still see Jesus? If you want to read a more plausible idea of heaven read "where dreams may come" IMO

I know heaven exist :), I went to go help out at a kids camp a few yrs ago and these 2 kids that I know actually had encountered Jesus and they went up to heaven. For 2 hrs they were on the ground just crying and their eyes closed the whole time, finally when they were able to get up and talk we asked what did they see

i am a supposive christian
I just dont think ive found the right church
the church i got o now, basically, if i dont go to youch one week. they send me messages on facebook asking where i was , how they missed me. even though they never talk to me when im there. im more of a shy girl, and everyone theer is more outgoing. Ialso feel like, i am constantly judged
just because i say "omg" the pastors daughter freaks out on me, i just dont feel like i belong. also my mother forces it on me, uncomf

My bible teacher just talked to us about this book! And the girl who painted Jesus was only 8 when she painted it! I forgot her name she's now 13 and does AMAZING paintings like they look like photographs!

I definatly am going to buy this book now and read it is sounds wonderful so thank you very much! Also, i recommend reading The Shack by William Young. It is about a father who lost his daughter and meets God. I don't believe it is a true story but i really enjoyed reading it and I think you might too:)
