  • Thanks

  • do we need arrows on both sides?

  • all math teachers have some kind of mathematical joke. hahah

  • is there a part two of this video?

  • Sweet. This makes way more sense than my math prof.

  • this is my online teacher :p

  • thank you so much

saved me om 30 points test

  • this is perfect thank you

  • You have saved my grade sir. Thank you

  • THANK YOU PROFESSOR!!! my pre cal professor sucks you are my new one!

  • can you solve F(X)= (1/2)) -x +2 ?

i wasn't able to get the answer correctly

  • who wears a purple shirt and an orange tie lol

  • I think there's a better teacher than experience...

    YOUTUBE

  • I LOVE YOU

  • When he talked about 3 raised to the zero power, he said that the answer was zero. Seconds before that he said that it was 1. I know that the answer is one, I just wanted to point that out because that may cause some confusion.

  • Holy shift! Look at the asymptote on that mother function!

  • omg i love this teacher!;)

  • excellent video, helped me a lot thanks!

  • Thank you so much! My teachers are trying to cram in as much as possible before school ends, and you just saved my skin!

  • OMG I can actually do my homework now!!! You are such a good teacher!!!!!

  • Very helpful !

  • What if you have a function like this?

    ie A^(x-n) - Y

  • HOLY crap, I understand math now :) Thank you.

  • 4:48 He says "at zero we will still be at zero" should be at x=0 we will still be at y=1 JUST FYI!!! thumbs up to keep this up top!

  • @theninjadang Yeah, in the actual course this is from, there is a dashboard around the video and it corrects his mistake in the video. This happens and he usually catches himself and calls out the mistake. If he doesn't and we use the footage, it's noted in the course so the viewer knows what he said doesn't match what is written. Good catch!

  • @ThinkwellVids Just thought id help

  • I'd say 75% math teachers in America should be replaced. They suck and our country will pay the consequences for their horrible teaching. Thank God for people online who actually teach.

  • how do u graph y=6^x

  • @champhouse3 You need to set values for x and then solve the function. So, x=2 would result in y=36. That is one of your coordinates. Keep plugging the values in and solving for y and you'll get several coordinates that will enable you to graph the function.

  • @champhouse3 did you not watch the fuckin video..

  • thank I was having so much trouble with this and now I got it

  • Thank GOD for teachers like you on youtube. You may have just saved me from having to drop my math class.

  • @IRLWHM I am so glad we saved you from dropping your math class! That would be AWFUL! Many students use our YouTube videos and even our online courses as tutors when they are having difficulties in their classes. I hope we can continue to help and keep you in your classes! :)

  • how do you graph a problem like f(x)=8*2X?

  • this is just one more reason for me to quit school and sit on youtube all day

  • This helped me more than my teacher!!

  • @SuperCcgamer I'm so glad Prof. Burger was able to help!

  • i can't get enough of my burger

  • he talks a little bit like quentin tarantino

  • Lol sorry i don't mean to be a pickky bastard but just wanted to correct u at 4:49

    cuz u said 3 tothe power 0 = 0 but its 1

  • @aryanrele2006 He did say 0, but the answer on the graph and coordinate chart show 1. But, it goes to show that you were paying attention!

  • im dropping out of school... ima get my education from youtube

  • Thanks! 5 1/2 minutes in and I went on to finish my homework myself. Thank you for giving me some clarity on Graphing Exponential Functions.

  • this is hilarious, i'm watching all these math videos on youtube and getting WAY ahead in my math classes. if only everyone realized that school was this easy. ;)

  • Thank you so much. This really did help me!

  • I wish my teacher taught this well

  • @rojany YEAH!!! I'm glad this video helped.

  • at 6:50 when he says the line doesn't touch the x-axis what is that term?

  • @mimiroko That would be the Asymptote

  • :O Whoa he knows how to teach.

  • this guy is the best lol

  • This is the best explanation I have seen.

  • nice refresher

  • this guy can REALLY teach.....
