When he talked about 3 raised to the zero power, he said that the answer was zero. Seconds before that he said that it was 1. I know that the answer is one, I just wanted to point that out because that may cause some confusion.
@theninjadang Yeah, in the actual course this is from, there is a dashboard around the video and it corrects his mistake in the video. This happens and he usually catches himself and calls out the mistake. If he doesn't and we use the footage, it's noted in the course so the viewer knows what he said doesn't match what is written. Good catch!
I'd say 75% math teachers in America should be replaced. They suck and our country will pay the consequences for their horrible teaching. Thank God for people online who actually teach.
@champhouse3 You need to set values for x and then solve the function. So, x=2 would result in y=36. That is one of your coordinates. Keep plugging the values in and solving for y and you'll get several coordinates that will enable you to graph the function.
@IRLWHM I am so glad we saved you from dropping your math class! That would be AWFUL! Many students use our YouTube videos and even our online courses as tutors when they are having difficulties in their classes. I hope we can continue to help and keep you in your classes! :)
this is hilarious, i'm watching all these math videos on youtube and getting WAY ahead in my math classes. if only everyone realized that school was this easy. ;)
Thanks
