Fishing is fun and i love it, i also like to eat the fish BUT fishing to eat and for sport are 1 thing comercial fishing can kill not only an entire species of fish but the nets also fuck their habitats
So i say:
-DONT fish endangered pecies
-DONT fish with nets
-IF the fish cant be eaten(mercury or somthing else) try to realese it not kill him
-Fish only with a rod(or 5 :P) and eat what you catch(its freash, good and nutricius)
Shame the fish was lost, but, you got to see an awesome feeding frenzy. And besides: isnt fishing about the MEMORIES from the trip and not the trophies?

is there not more you can do to prevent this from happening? are there no efforts currently underway to keep sharks from attacking? all too often i see videos of marlin and other great catches get eaten alive by sharks and groupers. and it really shouldn't have to be this way. if nothing's being done, then big game fishing probably ought to be banned.

@MatCastronini My Dad owned a charter fleet off Cairns. Tag and release is BS!! 80% of large fish released die from exhaustion or are eaten by sharks during the catch or soon after or suffer swim bladder issues.
