@gogoshvili94 it should be a fast as the rest of the leitmotifs in the piece. the piece is almost entirely quavers, so why should it be played more slowly? its the climax of the piece, if anything it should be even more frantic.

Too much pedal and not enough clarity in the beginning. My favorite recording is Krystofz Jablonski's live recording from the 1985 Chopin competition when he finished 3rd. It is THE BEST interpretation of this scherzo.
