  • This is why computers will never replace humans

  • Looks like the dampers aren't working.

  • Hermosa cancion, lastima que esta tan rapida en tu video... no se puede apreciar lo hermosa que es....

  • Kinda choppy isn't it?

  • @GemelCarlos haha im not even sure a computer cud do this:P

  • very strange, the key´s come up before they go down... xD virtual world makes everything possible, doesn´t it?

  • It's fun to watch, but it sounds like crap.

  • Makes you appreciate how amazing some pianists are :)

  • extremely clever!

  • Who ever said it. I noticed it too. The part at 2:51 I personally searched for the most prestigious of pianists who have played this song and nobody plays it like that. I play it the way this vid does cuz my sheet music said so, which version is this?

  • @Pianizt

HAHAHAH, what the fuck is that? Yes it's a huge freaking mistake.

  • isn't miss some piece on this piano?

  • This is a spectacular animation - very fitting visualization for this piece!

  • 9 people probably pronounce Chopin's last name wrong

  • I have this piece available in Express Stave Notation. Send me a message.

  • i tried to learn this song... couldnt get past the third measure though :(

    haha

  • @muffinsarelife1 i learned it when i was 11 ish (i suck at it now cause i havnt practiced in so long) screw the timing, play how its written and itll come togetheri n the end :D

  • I like turkish march by mozart better.

  • This song is amazing! I have it, and am going to try and play it well. It will take me a very long time though. But this song is very nice. :) Good Job!

  • @theCatsPajamas521 I can play it myself. I also heard it almost a thousand times (play count, 174 on iTunes, 45 Yundi Li, 42 Idil Biret, 400+ on my iPod, 30+ from my cellphone, 5 times in a music studio, once in a recital, and I practiced it at least 140 times from June -- so I heard it about 830+ times, enough for me to memorize it and know it by heart).

  • This is a masterpiece from Frédéric Chopin.

  • Damn, why did Chopin write such beautiful, sublime, yet hard piano compositions? Now I have to play it :/

  • Wow~! is there anyway to do this exact same thing...WITH DRUMS..? transscibe a song...on a drumset vs. a piano...!! ????? im serious..!

  • @AllFoamNoBeer A song that is meant from drums or a piano song on drums?

  • @Lockdown42 ..well imagine watching a drumset vs. a piano being played (correctly) with or without sticks (maybe the cymbals or toms/snare would just light up) the same way your keys are being depressed. search DTX mania for a 'dummied down' version of what I kinda mean. very nice idea btw- ☺

  • Dude, there's a 10 year old kid that I know that actually played this, with this tempo. I was surprised that he was able to play this, with no obviously mistakes. I'm so jealous.

  • How come of everyone who plays this piece, NO ONE plays the lick @ 2:51 ?? It is what the sheet music indicates, so?

  • Nice! :)

  • You think you can respect the work by JUST looking at the keys...then you see the whole mechanism inside threatening to snap in half and your respect and awe TRIPLES!

    8^O

  • wish i could learn music

  • well done , you've killed it.

  • great, now I can see the notes and play it on my piano! haha

  • Jetzt weis ich wenigstens wie mein Klavier von innen aussieht :D

  • Interesting!

  • it looks funny^^

  • where is the emotion???

  • I hate reading comments on popular classical videos because of all the idiots saying "ur" and "u" instead of "you're" and "you".

  • Well Dnt read em then iinit !

this aint the Queen's formal english nor an english master thesis pending to be examined by your university professor

And so what if there are idiots who cannot make use of the apostrophe when typing compound and possessive words? does that make that person too much of an idiot appreciate this beautiful music? prick

  • It just makes them sound stupid and disregards anything they say.

  • @mohaa279 I do believe that you mean contractions, rather than compound words.

  • why?? i don't understand

    it saves energy

and it's a lot of help

especially to those who type with their fingers all day

  • Is it really that time consuming to type a Y and O?

  • good to see u still take ur time to complain about it :D

  • Vraiment très originale ! Merci.

  • hey dude! - you would be the ever-so-sweetest, if you could re-render this and slow it way down, so i can use it to figure out how to play it :D In not too good with sheet music, so this could help me a great deal. In advance thanks.

  • Me too!

  • Hey Lockdown42, can you upload the Chopin etude no. 12 "revolutionary" ?please

  • awesome!

  • your piano's naked O_o

    cool rendition none the less

  • Cool program! -__-

  • LOL. a mistake at 3:39. haha.

  • Yep, your right, nice that you caught that.

  • @erken ???????????????? what mistake?

  • @willwei98 it should have hit a B note. I'm guessing it hit either keys adjacent to B (i.e., C natural, or B flat)

  • @erken wtf?

  • @erken dude, there can't be mistakes. Its a MIDI.

  • @GemelCarlos The midi was not made by a computer. The owner of this video said that the midi was played by a person, probably recorded through some midi importing device.

  • yay for showing the petal ^^ thanks! this is cool too

  • this must be played by a person it sounds CRAP like this!!!

  • no wrong notes but no emotion either =D that's robot

  • can any one give me the link to midi on this.

  • My piano teacher wants me to play this song for some conservatory exam, but I'm afraid she's a bit crazy. Maybe I can play the right hand and call it a day. lol. jk.

  • I wouldn't. This piece is overplayed and the obervers examining you would probably rather you played a less frequent SLOWER piece. Remember presto doesn't = virtuosity and understanding of music.

  • To be honest, I'd rather play the third movement of moonlight sonata for the exam.

  • me to.

  • yeah i would agree it would tate me a couple weaks to even play this.

  • ahh brings back old memories

  • T_T i tried to learn it.. but my teacher said... u cant do it.. cuz my hand are small... and it need big left hands =.= so... i quit it.. and now playing moonlight 3rd mvt... its awesome to check it out.. gonna play it next year :P

  • That must be so disappointing!

  • hmm...I think U can play It...with small hands. I have small hands too and I can play It...dont give Up

  • you kno what they say about small hands

    ; )

  • heey me 2!! :D i gonna learn that moonlight sonata 1,2 and 3rd mvt.. and my teacher said the same about the impromotu but trough that piano exam that i had, said the pianist from the conservetory that i can play!! X3 so im trying :D but its very difficult ... I love C sharp minor!!! XD

  • that's bull!! you can learn any piece you want it doesn't matter what hand size. trust me i know. i've been playing for 10 years. and your teacher's crazy, get a new one. there are 7 year olds that play these pieces.

  • Don't listen to that. Anyone can play anything. Unfortunately, it's more difficult for others.

Show some dedication; learn whatever you feel like learning.

  • Chopin had small hands compared to other composers like rachmaninoff. That's why most pianist play chopin

  • dude thats awsome shit...the piece itself its awsome.. but i Love the animation... what program did you use... n did you created all from scratch?

  • Mao Asada!! 2008!!

  • 16ths against 12ths are called cross-rhythms. This piece uses this about 23 times.

  • Umm...Allegro Agitato? It's meant to be fast, no? I've heard faster versions. There's a mistake at 2:50 however :P

  • I hear it too.

when it is going down, there is an error.

  • any faster, and u ruin the impromptu, this is a good tempo. People who like to play this as fast as they can is a BIG mistake - the impromptu is meant to be an expressive piece

  • What is this program called?

  • this piece always makes me wonder.... my friend played it..... it seems so fast and hard

  • I bet their fingers ache after that!

  • Not if you do it right!

  • haha thats so trippy to watch

  • chiburada :D xD

  • FREEBIRD!!!

  • This tempo is way too fast!!!!!!!!! Holy !@#$! This song is dramatic. You have to take time in the beginning and when you start the fast part, you have to do clear dynamics and not too fast!

  • may i ask what program is it ?

  • weird

  • fuckin difficult i'm 4 of professional education (2 years and i'm in the carreer of music [sorry for the bad english i'm spanish ^^]) well i'm in 4th curse and i can't play this awesome piece xD im 15 years old xD byee!!

  • I should play this song ^-^

  • really hard because both hand are in a different tempo

  • They're not in a different tempo. That's impossible T_T. It's just the right hand is 16th notes most of the time while the left hand is triplets so yeah.

  • that was a piece in o2jam ph! the ELECTRO FANTASY

  • is that the original tempo?

  • cool!!!

  • naked, cool!

  • It is almost like Electro fantasy in the game O2jam.

    Is it?

  • it is... this was song written in the romantic period, by chopin. called the fantaisie impromptu.

02 jam used this song in their electro fantasy, both are of high level of difficulty to play lolz

  • electro fantasy used this.

    this is original

  • 3ds max

  • So this is your program? cool.

  • hey man is there a way u could do a slower one?? super slow??

  • HAHAHA !!!!!!!!! LOL

  • im playing it, it helps me much !! thanks !

  • Cool program, but theres something not completely flowing with the melody, listen to a human playing it and you'll understand what I mean, seems like some keys of the melody are a bit static and rushed.

  • Lol thats because it is a recording of a human playing it. I'm not trying to prove machine is better than person, its just to let people see the notes.

  • sorry, wrong video. I watched another animated piano video where it wasn't playing the correct notes. Yours is.

    my bad

  • very nice i know this song and this help to know if i am playing right

  • where can i download this cool program

  • what programs is this?

  • A Java one I created and Alias Maya 7.0. I'm working on a purely java based one.

  • so did you use java script to programed a totally new software of your own where it can read notes you insert like those made from midi and have the Maya's 3D piano keys playing according to the chords on the music sheet?

  • "javascript" is unrelated to java although they confusingly have similar names

  • WOooah, wall of notes, crazy song, must be hard to play.

  • Why isn;t there a body on that piano?

  • Haha awesome. =)
