  • I tried this recipe because I live abroad now and can't get christmas pudding.

    I just added a little more brandy and glace cherries to the recipe and followed all your directions. I used a large rubber band instead of string to tie it. It turned out great and my family thought it was just as good as the M&S christmas pudding that we used to buy. Thanks for posting it.

  • @HOMEnHIGH You know, i didn't do it. I think I have to put it on my calender in September so I remember. Or I may just try it now anyway and eat it in February. I've never had an english xmas pudding, but i'm always up for a culinary challenge. if and when i get around to this i'll report back.
