fun fact: the first game he was in was "Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters" which also ties the original megaman series to the X series.

@HopeAndHearts - Rock, the Mega Man featured here, was originally a household robot built by Doctor Light along with Roll and all sorts of other robots. When Dr. Wily, Light's old partner, went crazy and stole several of the robots, Rock asked to be upgraded into a fighting robot... thus, Mega Man.

The one you see in the X series is a completely different robot... Dr. Light's final creation, named Mega Man X, who had the ability to make decisions on his own and think for himself.

MegaMan/Rockman 8 is probably a whole summary of the main franchrise made of pure win and cool music, i can't get enough of it's condenced win.

I think that the MegaMan's fan issue with the dubs is mainly from the X series at the beginning than from MegaMan 8, the only issue "location wise" was the change of the opening, but it wasn't much of a big issue and thankfully the song wasn't that bad but it didn't have any lyrics, the X series was the one having their first dubs being bleh.

there's nothing wrong with dubbing anime, if they were to rape the original then that means that they did what 4kids do with their anime dubs, which is replace japanese food with american food and stuff, besides most americans get introduced to certain animes when they get dubbed, not to mention that if dubbing anime is raping the original, then it would be the same with video games like this, there's nothing wrong with anime dubs.
