I am a huge Cyndi Lauper fan and I was a bit skeptical when I decided to watch this video but WOW! Beautiful rendition! You have an amazing voice and you were able to give a unique soul into the song... Very soulful! And this is further bolstered by the rationale behind this song. Beautiful... and I wish you and your daughter a beautiful sojourn in life. :) Hugs.
God bless Rachels, and i hope she'll enjoy her new life!! it's a good composition from ur side..and it's good to hear that her father donated a kidney,
Thank you all for taking the time to watch the video.. as Rachel's one year transplant anniversary is just around the corner..we count our blessings..but,we can't help but think of the many who are still waiting to receive the gift of life...MRSCN, thank you for helping spread the word by sharing this in your myspace!
This touched my heart. You sang it beautifully. I posted this in myspace in your honor! We all need to work together to create awareness! Thank you for sharing!
I was searching this song to see if there was a copy of Cyndi Lauper singing it live, when I found yours. At first I thought, "What the???" But I'm glad to say it was amazing. So pure and heartfelt.
My step dad died 10 years ago. He had received a heart transplant, but it only worked a few months. I met so many people in the hospital awaiting a new organ.
We are truely blessed by organ donations.
Thank you. I join the many others moved to tears by this video (but that's a gift too!)
This is beautiful. I worked in Pediatric Nephrology for 4 years and saw the struggle that many children went through while on dialysis and while waiting for a kidney. I am so happy that your daughter was lucky enough to get a kidney and hope that through this video many others will make the decision to donate their organs when the time comes. Thank you for this.
Thank you so much Gilbert for taking the time to view the video. Rach was one of the fortunate ones..So many children we left waiting in the dialysis room. God Bless you and yours!
This is so beautiful Donna.
