And don't kid yourself. Homosexuality is 100% choice. It has nothing to do with your natural desire. Like drinking, it's only the desire to do it. I have no clue why you'd want to get in bed with another guy, but apparently people out there want to do it. Maybe their desire to be the opposite sex, as I've seen many homos cross-dressing. It's more of a mind disease than a natural occurrence.

@y173635 For someone who is gay it is not a choice to desire somebody. I don't look at a woman and in my mind think "hey im going to lust after this woman" and make a conscious decision to do so. It's an impulse that i have and cannot control. I agree that homosexual sex is a choice, but so is heterosexual sex.

@LauraKathleen05 Lust for opposite sex is a humanistic trait. It's literally in our genetic makeup. Yet lust for same sex is just not supported by the body. It's 100% pure choice because your body does not feel lust. It's scientific not a case of emotions. There is no "gay gene". It's the very pro-homosexual media that made it seem so. And you know which love I was talking about.

I dont understand what you meant by that. When i look at a woman and feel lust for her my body reacts to that, i get a faster heart rate etc. You are right there is no one "gay gene" but scientists have found that it is a combination of genetics and hormones, the specifics are not known yet.

@LauraKathleen05 You think were all differently attracted to people? I would greatly disagree. An attractive women is not just attractive to me, but all men. An ugly women is not ugly just to me, but all men. Otherwise things like models and descriptive words like "ugly" and "attractive" wouldn't exist. Your body does not "lust" for the same sex, like it doesn't for uglier women. The "gay gene" conspiracy is pretty flawed. Most of it is based biased feelings.

@LauraKathleen05 No actual medical evidence supports the idea that homosexuality is something your born with (i.e. the "gay gene" as its termed). Most homosexuals had bad childhood problems. It's most likely caused by child trauma from parents or experience that caused you to reject, fear, or loathe the opposite sex.

@y173635 I dont know if you are born with it but there is evidence to suggest that it happens in early childhood. There were these twin boys i watched on a news program and one of them was very boyish and the other was more feminine (im not saying all gay boys are feminine) but they were both raised the same way, so theres no reason why nurture has to play a part in determining a persons sexuality. For me, i had the best childhood. I had friends to play with and nobody ever sexually assaulted me

Why is it that people are so obsessed with condemning homosexuality? Its like they have some weird fetish or sexual repression issues. Here we have religion causing wars and prejudice and oppression and all we can argue about is gays marrying and adopting kids. Where are your priorities? @y173635 Homosexuality is natural because it can be observed in nature. Its just not as common as heterosexuality. Its not considered "the norm" because homosexuals have been repressed throughout the ages because of religion and prejudice, fear of the unfamiliar etc.

@LauraKathleen05 No, homosexuality has no purpose; 2 same-sex partners cannot have a child. Heterosexuality on the other hand serves a purpose and is part with nature. If a bee does not do it's job to pollinate, than that bee is not following natural order, and thus, has no purpose. Religion sets the bar for human contact. If there was no bar, pedophiles, rapists, etc. would be much more common as human morality is quite limited to the human thought process.

@y173635 So first of all, you are saying that our only purpose in life is to reproduce? What is the point or reproducing if there is no other purpose to life? Of course our lives have other purposes other than to reproduce, people find meaning in their life whatever it is, and everyone has something different to live for. I have said this ad nauseam, homosexuality can be observed in nature, so therefore it is natural, thus following a "natural order" of some sort.

@y173635 The 'no morality without religion' argument has been falsified over and over again. Our morals have evolved over time according to the needs of the people in the society. If we went around killing murdering and stealing then our society would be chaos. We need to develop morals to suit everyone so that they can live in a comfortable and prosperous society. And what do you say about people who are motivated by their religion to kill others? Where is the morality in that?
