There is a wide range of moods, genres, and use of vocals on each of her albums. She has been showing off her stomach since 1991 and dancing forever. I think you may be stuck in the "Good Times" era, if anything. I don't really see a point where she started being less of an artist. Of course, I am a rabid fan...
