the KX100 has got a ton more power than the 150r, mainly because the KX100 is a two stroke and is made FOR racing. 150r's are more for the back of your house, and the KX100 is for the real tracks if you're gonna race.

you guys r retarded. The kx 100 would start off in the lead, but the crf 150r would catch up easily. If you ride trails alot get the 150r. Ive ridden a kx100 and a crf 150r. The 150r is so much better. Also two strokes sound their balls havent dropped yet.

@gibsonrocker070 if you want a 2 stroke to compete with a 4 stroke you need to double the CCs. Example a 125 2 stroke (in terms of engine) will probably go as fast as a 250 4 stroke. But in terms of the bikes, the 125 should go faster because it is a lighter bike

At all you people arguing what is a better bike: 4 strokes have more bottom end power, so its easy to just climb up something slow.

2 strokes have more top end power, they like to go fast, a 2 stroke can climb hills awesome you just have to be a good rider to manage all the top end that the 2 stroke has.. 2 strokes also teach you very good throttle control. The best 2 stroke riders make the 4 stroke riders....

i was looking at both these bikes, the kx100 crf150r expert and a yz85, 150 is tiny and expensive, yz looks retarted and it would only be a smaller step from what i have, i cannot get a 125 2 stroke yet i have a ttr110 and it is tiny so i guess the kx woud be the best for me judging by three factors

-size

-and well ater those two quality and looks but looks is not as important. don't get me wrong hondas are friggin awesome about quality but i think the kawasaki is best for me
