It is basically a bag pipe. However, the same or a similar sound can be made with merely a type of flute were two prongs collide and make this sound at the mouth of the instrument, much like toy noise-makers do for children. (pipigi).

In my studies I've seen evidence that things such as Ancient Roman cooking recipes have come to us extant, however, never have I heard anything about music scores being found from the ancient world. To me this video is an interpretation of what music MIGHT have sounded like. As I have stated if anyone on here is more knowledgeable I would love to hear what you have to say.
