Plus the 3DS is extremely far from a disapointment. I bought it on launch day, and I love where it's going. Yes, it doesn't have the games yet, but it will. And when the big titles come later this year like Mario 3DS and OOT 3D and Kid Icarus, that's when this thing is gonna kick in, and good. Plus theres a major 3DS update coming that adds lots of new features like video chat, recording 3D videos, Netflix, an internet browser, more online features, the list goes on.

@Nosidda89 The 3DS (also got it on launch day, cheers) is indeed cool but it's an unfinished machine, big mistake. Yes the features will be added on later, but the NGP will also have all those (minus the 3D). I thought the AR stuff was awesome at 1st but it quickly became boring, same with 3D. I have yet to see how the 3DS will conquer considering its high price point and the NGP not being so far behind price wise. While the NGP packs in a lot more punch, Nintendo is still playing too safe.

The PSP was a huge disappointment, but I remember seeing this commercial and getting excited. But when I finally got it, I was let down. Sold my PSP about a year later and got a DS, which I was very happy with. Just got the 3DS, which is even better.

@Nosidda89 yeah, the psp at first was disappointing but now it is the best handheld to ever released even now it's one heck of an impressive machine. and even though the 3ds was released one generation later the psp can still do everything the 3ds can and more. and if you want to talk about disappointed you should talk about the 3ds.

@smokinbull123 The PSP was a disapointment all the way throught it's time. I would sometimes try a game on my friends PSP after I sold mine, I played all the hyped up games, and didn't like any of them. The only PSP game I liked at all was KH Birth by Sleep, that's it. But even that wasnt a AAA game. It was a portable PS2, which is not a good thing cause a handheld is supposed to be a system of it's own identity, the NGP is making the same mistake of being a portable PS3.

@Nosidda89 You are spot on when you say that the PSP is a portable PS2, and the reason why most games sucks is because they were games that tried to be console games but failed, mostly due very limited disc space and god awful controls: thanks to the lack of a second analog stick. KH BbS, Monster Hunter and MGS PW were a pain in the fucking ass to play just because of the missing stick. The NGP, however, has both power and a second stick, definitely not the same mistake and likely to succeed.

I m the same I use my PSP for everything BUT games b/c the UMD drive on mine doesnt work. my PSP belonged to a friend but he had an accident with it and the screen broke and he gave it to me free then I bought the right screen on amazon and put it in myself and I have a functioning PSP minus the UMD drive. i got the go cam on it now its a backup digicam.
